$MANTA is now sitting around 209,450 holders, with roughly 482.02M MANTA in circulation as of October 4, 2026, according to CoinMarketCap’s current token data. That sounds like a large user base for a token whose core pitch is modular infrastructure, low-cost transactions and scalable Web3 applications.
Here’s the part that matters if you’ve ever looked at a holder-count number and treated it as direct evidence of adoption: holder counts are not the same thing as active users. MANTA exists across its native ecosystem and also has a BSC derivative, while centralized exchanges and custodial wallets can consolidate large numbers of users into a relatively small number of addresses. The number can also contain dormant balances, dust, contract addresses and wallets created during past campaigns or token distributions. So a high address count does not automatically mean 209,450 independent users are actively buying, using or accumulating MANTA. And I can’t confirm how much of that holder base is economically active from the aggregate figure alone.
The more useful numbers are circulating supply and actual network activity. Current market data puts circulating supply around 482.02M MANTA out of a 1B total supply, while DefiLlama shows roughly 494 active addresses over the last 24 hours on Manta itself. That gives a much different picture of current activity than simply quoting the holder count.
So when someone says “MANTA has 209K holders,” the better question is: how many of those addresses are actually using the network r
ather than simply existing on a token tracker?
