Ethereum Base AA standards split

Ethereum and Base developers halted talks to align EIP-8130 and EIP-8141, opting for separate account abstraction standards. EthLabs researcher Derek Chiang said the split shifts compatibility burden to wallets.

Fragmentation isn't the risk here, it's already the baseline. Starknet and zkSync shipped native account abstraction into their protocol design years before ERC-4337 existed on mainnet. Ethereum L1 and its L2s were never going to converge on one AA spec, they started from different assumptions. What actually matters is whether wallets and app devs can abstract the difference away, not whether L1 and L2 teams agree on a shared roadmap

imo part of the reason that the L1 is going to be bigger than many people expect (including ETH bears) is that there's an emerging granular spectrum of app-chain-like architectures. It's not just "L1 app, or L2, or nothing else". Derive found the right approach for them. They call it a "zkVM program settling on mainnet". Is it an L1 app? Is it an L2? An app chain? The correct answers are "Yes" and "Who Cares" 😂 Excited for them

Spotlighting our Crypto OG reviews on: @Unibase_AI Our Crypto OG reviewers note that Unibase ethereum:0x6944e1df6bf5972305f9ab25df47ef10de01bcc8 is building infrastructure for autonomous agents with a focus on memory, identity, interoperability and data access. The project is actively developing and has real market activity but the investment structure carries significant risks. Only around 2.5B of the 10B UB supply is circulating, leaving a large future supply overhang and scheduled unlocks that could create additional selling pressure. The anonymous team also adds a layer of trust risk, while a phishing site impersonating the project’s staking platform has created another security concern for users. With no clear token burning mechanism outlined, UB needs genuine network adoption to justify its valuation rather than relying on launch hype and speculative demand. Can Unibase turn its agent infrastructure into real adoption before its massive remaining supply reaches the market or will dilution and trust risks hold UB back?

The DAO hack split Ethereum in two. One side said “code is law”, developer’s fault, leave it. That’s Ethereum Classic. The other side hard-forked to give investors their money back. That’s ETH. Philosophically, ETC was right. The founders just picked the other side. That’s why ETH won. @Vladcostea @BobSummerwill

That’s what makes ethereum:0x6112c3509a8a787df576028450febb3786a2274d interesting beyond the chart. The real value is in connecting data, compute, researchers and communities into one ecosystem instead of keeping everything fragmented. If AxonDAO can keep bringing those pieces together, the network effect could become far more important than any single product.

+28.9% in 24 hours—something’s cooking 🔥 Power Protocol ($POWER) is showing strong movement. It aims to tokenize energy assets in DeFi—essentially, bringing real-world power infrastructure onto the blockchain. Given the global spotlight on surging electricity demand from AI data centers, it seems the intersection of energy and Web3 is regaining attention. Honestly, this category still has very little tangible substance. Jumping in based solely on a 24-hour spike is risky! For me, right now, it’s just on my watchlist with a small test position. To buy ethereum:0x9dc44ae5be187eca9e2a67e33f27a4c91cea1223, you’ll typically need a wallet like MetaMask or Phantom and trade via a DEX (decentralized exchange). If you don’t have a wallet yet, start there. #POWER #Cryptocurrency #Web3
