Ethereum transaction model redesign

Vitalik Buterin proposes separating transaction actions from dependencies to improve validation, execution, and scalability across Ethereum.

my goal is how $tao stays relevant into the next bull run. usually 99% of coins die and narratives shift. bittensora is different. real subnets. real demand. emissions tied to work that actually ships. mindshare, community and usage flow back into the coin without a huge pivot off the core idea. decentralized intelligence was the thesis. it still is. $tao

Today: Users → L2 gas fees → L2 operator / appchain L2s → blob + settlement fees → Ethereum That creates an interesting tension: Ethereum wants blobs cheap enough to accelerate L2 growth. L2s have their own incentive to monetize user transactions through execution fees in the meanwhile. So more L2 activity does not automatically mean proportionally more value captured by Ethereum L1. A growing share of the economics can stay at the execution layer. This is also why launching your own L2 can be strategically attractive. If applications colocate around your users, assets, and liquidity, you can capture more of the transaction economics generated across that ecosystem while still using Ethereum underneath. And based sequencing @puffer_unifi adds another layer: L2 execution → sequencing opportunities → Ethereum validators Instead of Ethereum’s economic relationship with L2s ending mainly at DA and settlement, its validator set can potentially participate directly in the sequencing economy. The end state may not be about forcing all value back to Ethereum. It may be an economic stack where apps capture execution value, L2s monetize their environments, Ethereum captures DA and settlement demand, and Ethereum validators participate in sequencing economics. Scaling while keeping the layers economically connected. More soon on @puffer_unifi!

Early facebook, young Mark Zuckerberg vibes! Const in 2021 being proud of bittensor's beginnings. Any token sales we're sold by being mined first! Everything was a fair launch since the start.

People underestimate the impact of this EIP. We’ll have a totally different UX in crypto soon, superior and faster than any web2 app or bank. Basically, even for user experience, it will be easier for a non-tech user to use a dapp on Ethereum than an actual web2 app.

Ethereum's gas limit got voted down 61 times in the last three hours, every one of them the maximum step the protocol allows. Not one held longer than four blocks. What I can't work out is whose votes those are. The header carries the builder's fee recipient, not the proposer, and the down-votes split across builders at almost exactly their block share. 53.4% and 52.5% for the top one. Stale config somewhere, or is someone actually targeting lower?

Ethereum's Layer-2s are scaling up! Proto-Danksharding & innovations like Visa's platform are making transactions faster & cheaper, solidifying ETH's Web3 backbone. The future is scalable. 🚀 #ETHscaling
