Tokenised stocks just became the fourth-largest asset on-chain. 2.25 million people hold them. Almost none of them own a share. The growth is real. In a single month, holders rose 179%, trading volume rose 364%, and the category passed $2.5 billion. The average position is $1,138. This is ordinary people buying what they believe are shares. Here is what they actually get. Buy a tokenised Tesla, and you do not own Tesla stock. You own a token issued by a platform. That platform holds, or says it holds, shares through a broker or a custodian. Tesla's share register has never heard of you. Which means: 👉 You have no vote 👉 You have no direct legal claim on the company 👉 Dividends reach you only if the platform's terms say they do 👉 If the platform fails, you do not own shares to reclaim. You are a creditor in someone else's insolvency, standing in a queue You didn't buy a claim on a company. You bought a claim on a company that has a claim on a company. Now look at the price. The token trades at the price of Tesla. Not at the price of Tesla minus the risk of the firm standing in the middle. Everyone can see the first number. Almost nobody is calculating the second. This is not a blockchain problem. It is the oldest structure in finance wearing new clothes. Every time a market has inserted an intermediary between an owner and an asset and then treated the resulting paper as equivalent to the asset, it has worked beautifully. Right up to the moment the intermediary is the problem, and everyone finds out what they were holding all along. It doesn't have to be built this way. A handful of companies have put their real shares on-chain, where the token genuinely is the share and your name is on the register. That version works. It's a small fraction of the market, because it requires the company itself to agree, and almost none have. 2.25 million people think they bought a share. What they bought is a promise from a company most of them can't name. Those are the same thing right up until they aren't.

🚀 Tokenized stocks in 2026: Perps volume ~$16B ('25) → $590B+; Spot $88B+ YTD. 3 models: Issuer-backed: direct ownership, votes, dividends, corp actions. Custodial: economic rights via licensed intermediaries. Synthetic: contractual claim (counterparty, tracking, corp action risks). With clearer regs & blockchain settlement, demand grows. 🔑 Key: Know if you hold equity or synthetic—rights & protections differ. #TokenizedStocks #RWA #Crypto #DigitalAssets

We’ve made the decision to build @labs_onink on top of the @Quotrons404 liquidity infrastructure on @inkonchain. And there’s a very specific reason why. LABS is being built as an onchain financial product issuer. We want to manufacture curated, rules-based exposures like: LABS AI LABS MAG7 LABS MOMENTUM LABS TECH LABS RISK Think of them as programmable baskets that can be constructed, rebalanced and traded entirely onchain. For that model to work, the most important primitive isn’t the frontend. It’s liquidity. Quotrons is building something particularly interesting: tokenized equity liquidity pools on Ink using Uniswap v4 infrastructure, xStocks and USDG, with fee logic embedded directly into the pools. That gives LABS the ability to build above an existing liquidity layer rather than trying to recreate one from scratch for every product we launch. A LABS basket can eventually route into underlying markets, rebalance between constituents and create entirely new structured exposures while tapping into the same shared liquidity infrastructure. And the relationship works both ways. LABS generates volume → the underlying pools capture activity → liquidity providers and the broader ecosystem benefit → deeper liquidity makes LABS products better. That flywheel is extremely important to us. We don’t want LABS to become another isolated DeFi application competing for fragmented liquidity. We want it to become a product layer built on top of an existing financial market. Quotrons is building the rails. LABS intends to build the products that ride on them. 🧪 @cruelhandeth @arjunsethi @gmoneyNFT

this is an L take on $NET. i am not even a holder and faded for exactly the same reason as stephen outlined below. unlike $OHM, the $NET treasury is not made up of emission … it actually bulked by RWA like $NVDA. these are juggernaut assets that will continue to grind up with broader AI. couple that with the tokenised leverage offered by @NetNetCap you have an OHM style protocol that is hedged on RWA stocks. imho, that is very different product that can yield very different results. we midcurved but that doesn’t mean we lament because then we stifle innovation.

HM Treasury's Wholesale Digital Markets Champion has convened a taskforce on tokenization. Isadora Arredondo (VP Global Policy) talked to @thefintechtimes about why coordination matters now, and what fragmentation would actually cost. 👇

Earning yield from DeFi has never been easier. DeFi vaults now handle almost everything for you. You only need to choose the vault or the curator managing it. Before, if you had $10K USDC and wanted to earn yield, you usually had to choose the protocol, market, collateral, and monitor the risk yourself. Now you choose a yield vault, and the curator manages the rest. According to the latest report from @vaultsfyi: > $11.29B in curated vaults > 856 vaults > 131 curators > 18 DeFi protocols Over the past year, the market share of curated vaults has also grown from around 5% → 12%. > Supply-side DeFi TVL ↓ ~41% > Curated vault TVL ↑ ~39% > 70% of curated TVL is managed by the top 5 curators. More capital is being handed to teams like @SteakhouseFi, @gauntlet_xyz, @SentoraHQ... to decide where to deploy it and manage risk on behalf of depositors. And curators are also increasingly being integrated behind exchanges, fintechs, neobanks, and wallets. They are removing the barriers around complexity and knowledge, making it easier to onboard users into DeFi. I think Vault szn is coming.

Found another interesting project on RH. @Vozdexai is combining liquid yield + private onchain trading in one protocol. Their YieldShares turn LP positions into liquid ERC-20 assets, so you can earn fees without locking your liquidity in NFT positions, powered by Uniswap v4 Hooks. They’re also building private crypto + tokenized stock trading with intent routing, MEV protection and ZK privacy. CA: 0x33316E5930C659fEDF2d3C4cCa7079461F05E3a1

🚨LATEST: Professionally designed stock portfolios are moving into self-custody. @Bitwise is using @coinbase's tokenized stock infrastructure to make these portfolios available directly in investors’ wallets. The model is designed by Bitwise, while @glider__ automatically adjusts the holdings to track the published portfolio weights without ever taking custody of the assets.
