𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝗻 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 Stablecoins are becoming useful for more than just trading. Businesses can use them to pay suppliers, receive money from customers, move funds between accounts, and settle transactions across borders. But there is one thing that could become a problem as adoption grows: privacy. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗔 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁 Imagine a company receives all its USDT payments through one wallet. If that wallet's activity is publicly visible, someone could potentially monitor its incoming payments, outgoing transfers, suppliers, and spending patterns. The blockchain may be transparent, but businesses don't necessarily want their entire financial operation to be transparent. That's where @utexocom is trying to make a difference. 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗶𝗻 + 𝗥𝗚𝗕 + 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 Utexo is building around three important pieces of Bitcoin infrastructure: Bitcoin provides the underlying settlement layer. RGB allows assets such as stablecoins to exist within the Bitcoin ecosystem while keeping much of the asset-related validation off-chain. Lightning can provide fast payment channels for transactions that need speed. Put those pieces together and you get an interesting foundation for stablecoin payments on Bitcoin. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗜𝘀 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 Privacy isn't only a business concern. Regular users also have financial information they may not want publicly exposed. Your salary. Your savings. Your purchases. The people you send money to. Having a public blockchain doesn't necessarily mean every part of your financial life should be easy for anyone to track. Good financial infrastructure should give users more control over what they reveal. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗮 This is why I think Utexo's approach is interesting. It's not simply about creating another way to send USDT. It's about building the infrastructure around Bitcoin that could make stablecoins more useful for actual payments. If businesses can get: → Stablecoin payments → Fast settlement → Bitcoin-based infrastructure → RGB asset support → Better financial privacy then Bitcoin becomes much more practical as a payment environment. The next stage of stablecoin adoption won't only depend on how much money moves on-chain. It will also depend on whether businesses and ordinary people actually feel comfortable using it. And privacy is going to be a big part of that conversation. @Lyt_web3

The US Treasury finally getting down to business. To propose rules for Stablecoin issuers after 12 years of using Stablecoin USDT issued by an offshore private company to siphon Money from other Countries. When it comes to US users of Stablecoin, they are getting their Acts ready

avatar

After 10+ solid years of misrule, using Crypto $USDT issued against Fiat Currencies that enabled our parasitic Crypto industry to steal Civilian Money from other Countries, we are now getting to grips with Stablecoin rules to be embedded in our financial system in next 2 years 🤡

avatar

Was $USDT issued as an experiment in Stablecoin all these years by an offshore Crypto entity without Regulatory #Clarity or framework ? If so, the US Treasury has been siphoning Money from other countries using an illicit token. An act of genius to call Crypto USDT a Stablecoin.

From a QR scan to payment confirmation in approximately five seconds—powered by NetX technology. 🇯🇵 We are proud to see @WEAJapan’s stablecoin payment solution successfully tested in Netstars’ latest in-store pilot at Lawson. The pilot connected MetaMask with Lawson’s existing POS infrastructure, enabling $USDC and $USDT payments across Solana, Morph, and Polygon, together with $JPYC on Polygon—all without changing the store’s existing checkout process. This was not an isolated Web3 demonstration. It tested stablecoin payments in a real, high-frequency retail environment, covering payment speed, usability, POS integration, exception handling, and operational impact. Congratulations to @WEAJapan, @Kouhou_NSS, Lawson, and all StarPay-X ecosystem partners on reaching this milestone. NetX will continue providing the underlying technology that connects multi-chain assets with real-world payment systems, working with partners to expand stablecoin adoption across Japan and beyond. #NetX #StablecoinPay #StablecoinPayments #Netstars #Lawson #StarPayX #USDC #USDT #JPYC #Web3Payments

Richard Teng said something I strongly agree with: crypto is gradually moving beyond the story of buying low and selling high. Stablecoins are increasingly being used for payments, money transfers, and accessing other financial markets. In my view, this is what will determine whether crypto can achieve long-term sustainability. An industry only truly matures when ordinary people use it for its utility—not just because they expect prices to rise tomorrow.

I’d like to congratulate my partners @oobit on their fantastic rebranding. Life. Work. Autonomy. Stablecoins are no longer just “crypto” - they’re real money for everyday life, business, and even AI. It’s very stylish and to the point. “People’s money” looks great in its new form.

Following the July 4 announcement of USDT delisting on @Revolut, weekly USDT volume jumped from a baseline of ~$250M to $474M, then peaked at $855M in the week ending July 13 - ~3.5 times the usual level of activity. In the three weeks following the announcement, Revolut customers transferred more than $1.8B in USDT. But by the end of July, volume had plummeted to $36 - $108M - 95% below the peak and the lowest figures recorded this year. Announcements of delistings do not lead to a gradual decline in activity. They trigger a short, intense period of migration - and then liquidity simply vanishes.
