INJ: Stronger Infrastructure, Weaker Price

Injective keeps expanding its infrastructure, but INJ still trades near $8.60—about 67% below its 2025 high.

EVM expansion, institutional validators, and a U.S. staked-INJ ETF filing add to the story. But announcements aren’t adoption. Sustained trading activity, RWA growth, and measurable token demand still need to prove themselves.

This is a watch, not a long.

$7.00 is the key support. Reclaiming $9.38 would be the first sign of improving momentum. Until usage and capital inflows strengthen, the thesis remains unproven.

INJ Has the Credentials. Price Wants Real Proof.

$INJ has spent the past year building an institutional foundation that many competing L1s still lack.

Its native EVM mainnet went live in November 2025. Regulated futures followed in April 2026, with SEC transfer-agent registration becoming effective in August. September brought over $1 billion in tokenized mortgage records.

Yet none of it has shown up in price.

Around $7.35, INJ remains roughly 72% below its 2025 high. Strong fundamentals haven't translated into sustained buying.

This is a watch, not a long.

$7.20 is the level that matters. Lose it, and $6.70 becomes the next area to watch. A reclaim of $8.20–$8.65 would be the first sign sentiment is turning.

My Final Take: The market doesn't need another announcement. It needs live products, measurable institutional adoption and real revenue.

Can INJ turn its institutional progress into genuine demand?

Why did $INJ slip so badly this week after being the best-performing L1?

#Injective is trading at $4.43 after a week that saw it swing from best-performing Layer 1 to one of the sharpest pullbacks in the sector. The chart is now showing the first signs of stabilizing, but it hasn’t cleared out the sellers yet; 4H MACD is still negative, and RSI just moved a bit out of the oversold territory.

The 4H chart setup tells a clean story. $INJ spent roughly six weeks consolidating in a $4.79–$5.20 range through late June and July, then broke down hard in early August, losing the $4.79 floor after rejecting a top near $5.48; $INJ fell all the way to $4.383 before it found a floor for reversal.

$INJ’s performance this week is quite surprising because Injective had a good week; it generated $133.1K in protocol revenue over the past seven days, placing it among the more consistently fee-generating Layer 1s in the market, and that revenue feeds directly into the network's Community BuyBack program, which uses on-chain fees to purchase and permanently burn INJ from circulating supply.

Well, the bull case here is straightforward. Since the RSI has already cleared its moving average out of oversold territory and the MACD is compressing into a bullish crossover, $INJ’s buyback burns, revenue growth, or the regulatory build-out can act as catalysts to push the token back to reclaim $4.60 and then test the $4.79 zone. A close above $4.79 would put $5.0 back into view, with hopes for a new high above $5.5.

The bear case is that this is still a bounce inside a downtrend until proven otherwise; if $INJ fails to hold $4.38–$4.40, the next real support it has is around $4.10, and that level hasn't been tested since spring.

What’s your bet on $INJ? A push back to the $5s, or a further breakdown?

$WLD and $INJ have been hit so hard recently. Is the AI narrative dead? All A.I. coins, except for $TAO (which is also underperforming, but not as badly as the others), have been falling non-stop.

The AI-token narrative tokens have been among the worst performers at the moment, with $WLD and $INJ taking the hardest falls, breaking through their main support zones and grinding way lower. Others like $TAO and $NEAR are equally not performing well, but they didn’t fall as bad ad INJ and WLD.

1. #Worldcoin ($WLD)

Currently trades below $0.3, with a deeply negative MACD on the 4H chart and an RSI pushing into oversold territory. The chart shows a clean breakdown: WLD lost the $0.3540 support level in late July after months of consolidation beneath it, and price hasn't looked back since; now it’s trading nearly 15% below that broken level, with the $0.4494 zone sitting far overhead as distant resistance. $WLD is in a confirmed downtrend, not a pullback within a range.

2. #Injective ($INJ)

$INJ rejected the $5 level multiple times last month and is now trading way below it. Currently at a $4.49 range with a 4H RSI at a deeply oversold territory of 25.93. $INJ broke down from a multi-week consolidation range between roughly $5.00 and $5.20, briefly found footing near the $4.791 level, and has now broken below that too, sliding to fresh local lows. However, its oversold RSI raises the odds of a short-term relief bounce, but the structure itself remains firmly bearish until $INJ reclaims $4.791.

3. #Bitensor ($TAO)

$TAO trades at $190.99, with a 4H RSI at 42.09 below its 51.97 moving average. TAO is pulling back from its recent test of the $198-$200 zone, but it's still holding well above the $184 low that capped its own July downtrend, and the current dip looks more like a retracement inside a range than a fresh breakdown. It's underperforming its own recent bounce, but the damage is nowhere near what WLD and INJ are showing.

$WLD and $INJ breaking multi-month support levels with heavy RSI weakness is a real technical deterioration. Do you think the AI trade lost its appeal for now?
