UniSat indeed holds ORDI, and Lorenzo finally revealed the reason today, though the quantity remains confidential.
In 2023, they worked on PizzaSwap, planning to use ORDI as the primary trading asset, and the product was already built. In the end, it wasn't the code that got stuck, but the ecosystem consensus—no one was willing to change the rules together.
The result was straightforward: money was spent, the product didn't launch on mainnet as promised, and UniSat's reputation took a hit.
Later, they moved this system to Fractal and gradually turned it into InSwap.
After reading this, my feeling is simple:
On Bitcoin, whether you can build a product is only half the battle; the hardest part is getting everyone to recognize it.
I'm willing to accept Lorenzo's acknowledgment of this old debt. As for the ORDI holdings, there's still no information on quantity or addresses—don't rush to treat it as a price bullish factor.
