Ethereum Is More Than Just a Cryptocurrency

Many people look at ETH only as a digital asset, but Ethereum plays a much bigger role in the blockchain ecosystem.

Here are three important things every investor should understand:

1. Smart Contracts

Ethereum allows developers to build applications that operate without relying on traditional intermediaries.

2. Layer 2 Networks

Solutions built on top of Ethereum help reduce transaction costs and improve scalability while benefiting from Ethereum's security.

3. ETH Utility

ETH is used to pay network fees, secure the network through staking, and support activities across its ecosystem.

One important point: More blockchain activity does not automatically guarantee a higher ETH price. Adoption, competition, demand, and market conditions all matter.

My takeaway: Understanding the technology behind an asset is more valuable than following every short-term price movement.

Crypto investments involve risk. Always do your own research before investing.

🪙 Do you think, you know #Cryptocurrency well enough?

Everyone talks about, $BTC, $ETH and crypto trading — but how well do you actually understand the technology behind them?

Cryptocurrency is a form of digital asset designed to use cryptography and blockchain technology to enable transactions without relying on a traditional central authority.

But there's much more to understand.

Here are some fundamentals every beginner should know:

🔹 How cryptocurrency works

🔹 What blockchain actually does

🔹 Coins vs tokens

🔹 What are stablecoins?

🔹 How crypto wallets work

🔹 Private keys and wallet security

🔹 Where cryptocurrency is used

🔹 The biggest risks beginners should understand

The crypto market moves fast.

Your education shouldn't.

Bitcoin Halving: What Actually Gets Cut in Half?

Not the Bitcoin price.

Not the existing BTC supply.

Not the amount stored in anyone’s wallet

A Bitcoin halving reduces the block subsidy—the new BTC awarded to miners for producing a valid block.

The event occurs every 210,000 blocks, roughly once every four years. Bitcoin’s block subsidy has followed this schedule:

50 BTC → 25 BTC → 12.5 BTC → 6.25 BTC → 3.125 BTC

The 2024 Bitcoin halving reduced the subsidy from 6.25 BTC to 3.125 BTC per block. The next halving is expected around 2028, although the exact timing depends on when the target block height is reached rather than a fixed calendar date.

Why does Bitcoin halving matter?

It slows the rate at which new BTC enters circulation, supports Bitcoin’s predictable issuance schedule and moves the network closer to its maximum supply of 21 million coins. It also changes miner economics because block-subsidy revenue falls while transaction fees remain.

What halving does not do is guarantee a price increase. Bitcoin’s market price still depends on demand, liquidity, macro conditions and investor expectations.

Halving changes supply issuance—not the laws of the market.
