When will $SEI pump? Not sure yet, but watch for a close above $0.0420.
$SEI has been one of the worst-performing ALTs for the better part of last month, and up until now, it is still consolidating; however, the momentum indicators are starting to turn positive as the price tries to steady in the range of $0.0410 - $0.042.
#SEI fell from a high around $0.071 in early June, reached a $0.0444 low, attempted a rally back, but topped at $0.0670, then crashed again, and has been consolidating ever since. If it manages to make a daily close above $0.0420, that would be the first real signal that the range is resolving higher instead of setting up another leg down toward the $0.040 floor.
On the fundamental side, Sei published SIP-5, a post-quantum security proposal that binds an ML-DSA-44 key onto a user's existing EVM address without requiring any fund movement or address change.
However, this new tech could increase bandwidth requirements across the network, which may affect the throughput; the proposal is currently framed as an emergency-ready fallback while a separate zk-STARK batching approach gets researched for the long term.
On the chart, $SEI needs to reclaim $0.0420 and print an MACD crossover with a follow-through candle, opening room back toward the $0.044 to $0.046 zone that capped price before the late-July breakdown. If this zone rejects again, then $SEI could reach for the $0.041 floor.
