@Revolut Will Remove $USDT in August for Regulatory Reasons The cryptocurrency market continues to adapt to the new regulatory requirements that are gradually being implemented. In this context, Revolut informed some of its customers that it would remove USDT from its offering during the summer of 2026. This decision comes with a precise schedule that outlines several steps before the permanent removal of the stablecoin. It also illustrates how financial service platforms are gradually adjusting their cryptoasset offerings in response to the evolving regulatory framework.

Tether has confirmed it will not apply for a MiCA license. According to CEO Paolo Ardoino, some of the requirements introduced by the European framework for stablecoin issuers could increase risks related to reserve management. For now, Tether has decided to remain outside the MiCA framework in Europe. #MiCA #USDT #CryptoEurope

Standard Chartered has joined the growing list of MiCA-approved crypto firms. The EU’s securities regulator added 37 new companies, including Standard Chartered and FalconX, to its MiCA register, bringing the total number of authorized crypto service providers to 280. As the EU’s transition period concludes, MiCA is helping establish a more structured and transparent regulatory framework for the digital asset industry. #Crypto #Regulation

This one caught my attention 👀 Aurora Intents is apparently close to launching its first major vault partner, and the integration is almost done. The interesting part for me is the focus on USDT sitting on Tron. There’s a huge amount of capital there, and with Intents Connect, Intents Deposits, plus new yield products coming in Q3, that idle liquidity could become much easier to put to work. I have a few guesses about the vault partner… but I’ll keep them to myself for now 👀

MiCA marks the beginning of a new era for digital assets in Europe. As @mcvviriato told @TheBlockCo, market consolidation is inevitable. The companies that emerge stronger will be the ones that have built with compliance, privacy, and institutional readiness from day one. The infrastructure race is just getting started.

From the series: Brazil remains at 1950. The Central Bank of Brazil wants “large” stablecoin (crypto-dollar) transfers to be held for 24 hours before being sent. Crypto innovates, enabling capital to be transferred globally in the same second. Cost of capital decreases, creating a more efficient and affordable market. Brazil is against it.
