Bitcoin might be repeating a familiar bottom structure from the previous cycle.

Back in 2022, BTC dropped nearly 20% below the 2017 cycle high before finally forming its macro bottom.

Now, Bitcoin is trading roughly 15% below the 2021 cycle high, creating a setup that looks surprisingly similar.

Nothing is confirmed yet, but the pattern is definitely worth watching.

🔷 BTCUSDT (Macro uptrend, healthy correction)

BTC still leading the market structure.

“BTC pullback looks like a standard mid-cycle correction inside a broader uptrend. EMAs are still stacked positively on higher timeframe structure. As long as support holds, this looks more like consolidation before continuation rather than reversal.”

Fraud carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a fine of NT$200 million. The Virtual Asset Services Act elevates false fraud and market manipulation to the same level of severity as violations under the Securities Exchange Act. Platforms and stablecoin issuers now require approval from the Financial Supervisory Commission. In the future, buying cryptocurrencies in Taiwan may be less likely to result in sudden platform collapses—but the eight existing providers must reapply for licenses. Although these eight firms may continue operating for now, the Virtual Asset Services Act will transition them from a “registration system” to a “licensing system”: • Requirements for capital adequacy, internal controls, cybersecurity, and client asset segregation will be significantly raised. • Activities related to stablecoins will be subject to stricter regulations. • The transition period lasts up to 21 months; firms failing to obtain a license by the deadline will no longer be permitted to operate. The era of licensing has officially begun.

That’s great news!! True to its status as a semiconductor powerhouse!! With the passage of this bill: • It significantly reduces regulatory uncertainty. • It introduces a licensing system to create a legitimate business environment. • It signals Asia’s formal entry into regulatory competition. However, this is roughly on par with what the EU’s MiCA, Singapore, Japan, and Hong Kong have already accomplished. There’s still a significant gap compared to the U.S.
