KCS is finally showing some signs of life. +4.86% on the day, currently at 7.157, bouncing from the 6.609 low hit a few days ago. Volume is still low at 696K USDT, but at least it's showing some interest.
The weekly chart shows a green candle after several red ones, and price managed to break above the 6.82 resistance that acted as a ceiling in recent weeks. The weekly MACD is still in negative territory (histogram at -0.881), but the DIF and DEA lines are starting to flatten out, suggesting bearish momentum is slowing down. Not a massive buy signal yet, but a pause in the drop. 🧐
Immediate resistance sits at 7.228 (today's high). If it breaks above that with volume, the next level would be 7.50 and then the 8.00 zone. On the downside, key support is at 6.82 and then the recent low of 6.60.
KCS is an exchange token, and it tends to move when there's news about burns, listings, or when the broader market rallies. For now, this bounce looks technical, but the low volume makes me doubt its sustainability.
If the market keeps going up, it could follow. If not, it could fall back to the lower range. ⚖️
Short-term signal (4H–1D):
🟢 Long entry: 7.00 – 7.10 pullback to support
🛑 Stop loss: 6.80 (below key support)
🎯 Take profit 1: 7.22 (retest of high)
🎯 Take profit 2: 7.50 (extension)
KCS isn't a high conviction play right now. Volume is thin, so moves can be erratic. If you enter, size small and don't get attached. If price loses 6.80, cut it quickly.
The bounce is valid, but the weekly trend is still bearish overall. 🌊👀
