🇺🇸 Senators have introduced a bipartisan resolution opposing a potential pardon by President Trump for former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF). On June 8, it was reported that Sam Bankman-Fried officially submitted a pardon request to the U.S. Department of Justice, seeking clemency from Trump.

🚨TRUMP-BACKED WORLD LIBERTY FINANCIAL NEARS OCC TRUST CHARTER! Application filed in January 2026 for a national trust bank to directly issue, redeem and custody its USD1 stablecoin under federal oversight. Approval seen as highly likely per recent reports.

Trump-backed World Liberty Financial is close to landing an OCC national trust bank charter, per NOTUS. Comptroller Jonathan Gould is weighing approval — ex-OCC staffers call a rejection "inconceivable." Charter would let it handle USD1 stablecoin on/off-ramps. Not financial advice. #Crypto #Stablecoins

Imagine: The Trump family apparently stands on the verge of obtaining their own type of crypto bank in the U.S. through World Liberty Financial. 🚨 Insiders now consider approval nearly certain. This would allow the company to issue its stablecoin, USD1, directly within the U.S. and process payments without traditional banking partners. Here’s where it becomes controversial: Critics warn of a potential conflict of interest, as the presidential family would stand to profit financially. At the same time, crypto applications are currently being processed by regulators at unusually rapid speeds. If the license is granted, it would be a major development—a major crypto firm would effectively integrate directly into the U.S. banking system, and the rules of the game could change faster than many expect.

NYM: SBF Says He May Launch a New Token After Prison According to New York Magazine, new details have emerged about the prison life of Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), the founder of FTX who is serving a 25-year prison sentence. Now 34, SBF reportedly takes Adderall daily for clinical depression and ADHD and has been writing a serialized prison memoir titled Manfred. When asked by fellow inmate David Bunevacz about his plans after release, SBF said that making serious money would require an initial $50 million to $100 million to build a real business, adding that he would “start my own coin” after leaving prison and that “everyone will flock to it.” Bunevacz later remarked, “He may have been joking, and they probably won’t flock to it. But who knows.” SBF formally submitted a presidential pardon application to the Trump administration on June 8. Following the news, the probability of a pardon being granted on Polymarket doubled to 14%.

#BREAKING @SBF_FTX is quite literally one of the best start-up investors of all time & it’s not even close! Sam Bankman-Fried’s startup investments would be worth an estimated $100B to $114B today if they had not been liquidated during the #FTX bankruptcy proceedings

After his release, SBF plans to launch his own token, claiming “everyone will rush to buy it”—has this guy’s dream of making big money not faded yet? Foreign media report that FTX founder @SBF_FTX is currently serving a 25-year sentence, but he’s doing surprisingly well: he takes Adderall daily to treat depression, eats beans, plays pickleball, plays the same game 6,000 times, and has written a memoir titled “Manfred.” He also told fellow inmates that to make big money, you need an initial capital of $50 million to $100 million, and then issuing a token will guarantee massive demand. One inmate later commented: “He might just be joking—most people probably won’t invest—but who knows?” On June 8, he officially submitted a pardon request to Trump. Polymarket’s probability of pardon rose from 7% to 14%. However, Trump has already stated he has no intention of pardoning him; the odds of CZ being pardoned were far higher at the time.
