XRP faces bearish continuation risk

XRP remains below $1.60, forming a triangular consolidation. A break below $1.30 could target $0.75 per classical measured move analysis.

$XRP IS WHERE EMOTIONS GO TO DIE You can hate XRP all you want. The chart does not care. That is the entire point. Most people stopped analyzing this chart because they emotionally hate the asset. They confuse disgust with analysis. They think ignoring a structure makes the structure disappear. It does not. Since 2017, XRP has been moving inside a large structural map: expansion, rejection, compression, breakout, reset, and now another test of the range. The crowd sees an old hated coin. I see a chart still respecting its long-term architecture while sentiment is buried. This is not love. This is not hate. This is not a fan club. This is structure. And hated charts usually do not need the crowd’s permission before they move.

I still hold $XRP, and honestly, I’ve always believed in XRP. But after spending more time researching and understanding the market, I realized something important — my mistake was never XRP itself, but the unrealistic expectations I once had about its price. Like many people, I used to believe the hype about XRP reaching “hundreds” or even “$1,000.” But over time, I’ve learned that reality doesn’t always follow our fantasies. A more realistic long-term scenario could be XRP eventually reaching the $15–$20 range. And truthfully, even maintaining a strong and consistent position between $5–$10 would already be an incredible achievement. Sometimes real investing isn’t about chasing impossible dreams — it’s about finding the balance between potential, patience, and reality. #XRP #Ripple #Crypto

Never underestimate the people holding just $100 or $200 worth of $XRP. While everyone else laughs, watches from the sidelines, or calls it worthless… they’re the ones actually taking the risk. Small bags still carry weight. Every dollar in XRP represents time, hard work, and belief. And if XRP really does change the financial system one day… Don’t be shocked by who ends up winning.

Ripple can win as a company while $XRP holders get used as the financing layer. Ripple sells XRP, uses the money to build products, acquire companies, and grow Ripple Labs, but most of that value accrues to equity shareholders, not necessarily token holders. The bridge currency narrative is also weaker than people think. Any liquid token can act as a bridge asset, and Ripple itself admitted XRP’s bridge use case is demand-neutral. The funniest part is that Ripple issued most of $RLUSD on Ethereum and other non-XRP Ledger chains. So if Ripple itself does not fully rely on XRP Ledger, why should retail believe XRP captures the upside? At this point, XRP looks less like a revolutionary financial asset and more like a bank-themed meme coin used to fund Ripple’s corporate strategy. That is the part XRP maxis hate discussing.

By owning XRP, you are basically funding a company that has shown it will prioritise equity shareholders over token holders. Let me explain. Ripple spent the last decade selling XRP to retail while pushing the idea that institutional adoption is inevitable. But what actually happens? Ripple sells XRP, uses the proceeds to acquire real companies, build products that do not really need XRP, and fund Ripple Labs’ corporate strategy. That benefits Ripple shareholders. Not necessarily XRP holders. And this is where it gets worse. The whole “XRP is a special bridge currency” argument is not as strong as people think. Any liquid token can act as a bridge asset. Every Layer 1 gas token already does this in some form. Being a bridge currency just means being liquid and widely used as a trading pair. There is nothing magically unique about XRP there. Ripple even admitted in court filings that XRP’s bridge currency use case is demand-neutral. In simple terms: It does not necessarily affect price. Yes, XRP can act as a bridge currency on the XRP Ledger. But the XRP Ledger itself still has low adoption among asset issuers. It is not even close to leading in real-world assets or stablecoins. And the funniest part? Ripple issued most of its $RLUSD stablecoin on Ethereum and other non-XRP Ledger chains. They do not even fully rely on their own infrastructure. So the question becomes simple: If Ripple itself builds around XRP instead of fully on XRP, why should retail believe XRP captures the value? No single bridge currency on a siloed chain solves global liquidity fragmentation, especially when most of the world’s value exists outside the XRP Ledger. At this point, XRP looks more like a bank-themed meme coin that Ripple sells to retail to finance acquisitions, products, and corporate growth. The company can win while the token holder gets used as the financing layer. That is the uncomfortable part. Ripple can succeed as a company. That does not automatically mean XRP captures the upside. And that is the difference ripple:native maxis hate discussing.

Analyst @egragcrypto Highlights Biggest Similarity Between $XRP and Tesla Right Before Tesla’s Exponential Expansion. #Ripple XRP has failed to breach the $3 area since 2018, leading to frustration among investors. EGRAG says XRP may actually be going through what Tesla underwent around $20 before breaking out. Between 2013 and 2019, Tesla failed to breach the $20 area, leading to mental exhaustion among investors. When Tesla broke out, it saw an “exponential expansion” toward new highs, the latest being $498. EGRAG believes XRP could follow a similar pattern when it breaches the $3 zone.

The biggest surprise of the next 12 months will be this: Merchants and fintech apps will quietly rotate back toward stablecoin infrastructure built for compliance instead of hype. My locked prediction: XRP finishes above $8 within 12 months. Not because retail suddenly becomes louder. Because payment companies and cross-border providers are exhausted by fragmented liquidity, unpredictable settlement paths, and regulatory uncertainty across multiple chains. The market spent years treating speed as the entire product. But institutions care about something different: finality, legal clarity, uptime, and integrations that survive audits. That changes where serious money flows. Most crypto users still underestimate how large the business of moving money actually is. Payroll rails, remittances, treasury settlement, B2B transfers, correspondent banking replacements. That market is enormous and painfully inefficient. The second regulators stop treating participation like legal roulette, infrastructure with existing banking relationships becomes aggressively repriced. That repricing starts with XRP. I’m locking this call publicly now so there’s no rewriting history later. Quote me in 12 months. @RallyOnChain
