A whale sold 35,000 ETH over three days at an average price of $2,066—this wasn’t just a typical profit-taking. In the same week, BitMine reported unrealized losses of $7.35 billion, and Tom Lee’s Ethereum portfolio shrank by an equivalent amount. Analysts have even issued a bearish target of $1,600. These signals point to one critical issue: Ethereum is experiencing a “trust withdrawal.” It’s not retail investors selling—it’s the most knowledgeable participants on-chain adjusting their positions. Whale exits often precede price discovery. Even more concerning, Ethereum’s struggles are not isolated. The StableR stablecoin was recently attacked and depegged, exposing vulnerabilities in DeFi infrastructure through a multisig flaw; ETFs have seen sustained outflows as institutional capital shifts toward Bitcoin. Ethereum’s fundamental narrative—transitioning from “world computer” to “revenue-driven”—is still being built, but the market has already voted with its feet. When the largest holders begin reducing positions, the question isn’t “Should I buy the dip?” but rather, “What risks are they seeing that I’m not?” $btc #eth #defi #stablecoin #etf

Expecting another buy of around 70,000 $ETH tomorrow. With the price of $ETH falling back to $2,000 this past week, I am expecting the team to make a decent sized purchase despite them decreasing the size of their buys recently. I do not see a purpose in buying back shares if they are just going to issue more to raise the capital to buy $ETH at a later date. I understand that $BMNR is trading at a discount to their NAV, but $ETH is trading at an even bigger discount to the price targets Tom and the team have projected. In the long run, stacking and staking $ETH is the right move.

Despite the doon and gloomy, I believe the long term narrative around $ ETH is intact. By only question is will $BMNR or $FETH give be q better tracking vehicle. $BMNR has disappointed me thru endless ATM issuance despite a plummeting MNAV. My fear remains what happens when TK reaches 5%?? Does he stop buying? That removes support. Or does he keeps pounding the ATM. Well, at least the index inclusion might add quality bit of support to $BMNR.

Ethereum L1 transaction volume has just reached an all-time high. Meanwhile, retail investors are spreading fear about $ETH.
