Vitalik Buterin on Ethereum and AI: A Human-First Vision

Vitalik Buterin recently shared his thoughts on how Ethereum and artificial intelligence (AI) could work together in a practical and responsible way. His focus is not on replacing humans, but on supporting better systems.

Key ideas from Vitalik:

Privacy first

AI systems should respect user privacy. Ethereum can help protect data through cryptography and decentralization.

Trust without central control

Ethereum can serve as a neutral base layer where AI decisions are transparent and verifiable. These decisions would not be controlled by a single company.

More efficient markets

AI can help improve coordination and efficiency. Meanwhile, Ethereum ensures fairness and open access.

Humans stay in control

Vitalik clearly emphasized that AI should assist human decision-making, not take it away.

Decentralization matters

Combining AI with Ethereum can minimize risks of centralized power and unclear algorithms.

Overall, Vitalik’s message is clear:

AI and Ethereum should empower people, protect freedom, and build trust; they should not replace human judgment.

Do you think decentralized blockchains are necessary for the future of AI?$ETH

#ETH whale adds Hyperliquid position

Hyperliquid now leads Coinbase with a staggering $2.6 trillion in trading volume, nearly doubling the size of one of crypto's top centralized platforms. This shows incredible growth and momentum in crypto trading! #Crypto #Trading #Blockchain

📈 Crypto market bullish as Hyperliquid, LEO, and Monero gain amid Bitcoin reset. HYPE $32.53 (+5.9%) | LEO $8.23 (+4.5%) | XMR $335.78 (+3.3%) #Crypto #Bitcoin

# #ETH Whale's "Stress Test" Lesson Seeing #ENS cancel its L2 plan and directly upgrade, as well as a #ETH whale, after losing 9.63 million, opening a 15x leveraged long position again. This reminds me of the "margin of safety" principle in investing. The whale's actions are reminiscent of risky adding to a losing position after a failed stress test, rather than rational decisions based on value. A decline in market volatility is a good thing, but high leverage is a wealth crusher. Suggestion: Stay away from high leverage and focus on protocol fundamentals improvements (like ENS's reduced gas fees). This is the long-term way to build wealth. 🧠

One dumbass whale is keeping down $ZK specifically for months. Just connected the dots. No worries tho, sooner or later you'll slip up. Liquidation is coming buddy (I know you're reading)

Hyperliquid Quietly Overtakes Coinbase! 🔥 The decentralized exchange Hyperliquid is quietly outperforming public giant Coinbase across key metrics. 💹 Total trading volume on Hyperliquid has reached $2.6 trillion, compared to $1.4 trillion on Coinbase. Market performance also tells a contrasting story: HYPE is up 31% YTD, while Coinbase shares are down 27% over the same period. 📊 The data highlights a broader shift in market structure as traders increasingly favor high-performance DEXs, decentralized platforms are starting to rival and even surpass centralized exchanges on scale and efficiency. 💪

A new wallet (0x6C85) has deployed $12.88M in $USDC to #Hyperliquid to open a 20x leveraged long on Ethereum ⚡️ The position now totals 16,270 $ETH, with a notional value of approximately $33.38M 💰 Could positioning at this scale amplify short-term ETH volatility? 🧐👇 #Ethereum #ETH #CryptoMarkets #Derivatives #DeFi

💎 Hyperliquid Quietly Surpasses Coinbase Hyperliquid is outperforming Coinbase on key metrics. DEX volume: $2.6T Coinbase volume: $1.4T Performance tells the same story: $HYPE +31% YTD | $COIN −27% Traders are shifting fast — high-performance DEXs are no longer alternatives… they’re becoming the competition.

Two wallets, one vibe -- and a massive ETH bet shaking Hyperliquid! Interesting and it's really very hard to ignore. Two addresses have slowly and aggressively piled into $ETH longs totaling more than 95,000 ETH, roughly $190 million combined. That puts them at TOP1 and TOP2 for ETH longs on the platform right now. Big size, bold timing… maybe a little too bold. One of them, 0x6C8512516Ce5669d35113A11Ca8B8DE322fD84F6, moved fast. Over the last three hours, it bridged in $21.798M USDC as margin, then slammed open a 40,000 ETH long at 20× leverage, worth about $80.39M, entering around $2,039.43. The market didn’t cooperate. At the moment, the position is bleeding, sitting at roughly $1.17M in unrealized losses. Then there’s the heavyweight. 0xa5B0eDF6B55128E0DdaE8e51aC538c3188401D41, currently holding the largest #ETH long on Hyperliquid. This wallet opened a 60,000 ETH long last night, about $120M in size, with an entry at $2,059.8. Same story here, just scaled up. The position is now running in loss by around $2.9M. What makes this more than just two random whales swinging size? The trail. Both margins were bridged from Tron to Arbitrum, using similar routes, timing and we must say behavior too. Could be coincidence or be one entity splitting exposure. Either way, this is one of those moments where you zoom out, watch the charts breathe, and realize: someone out there is betting very hard on ETH blinking first.
