BitMine expands ETH holdings
BitMine added 12,532 ETH, reaching 6.03 million tokens. Tom Lee confirmed purchases will stop at 5% ownership. Staking generates $336M annual revenue run rate.

Last week’s treasury data revealed that two major companies had one buy and one loss—but the more critical development is that one of ETH’s largest buyers is about to stop purchasing. Last week, Strategy bought another 250 BTC at an average price of $86,194, bringing its total holdings to 848,000 BTC, with a paper profit of 10.2%. Meanwhile, Bitmine purchased 12,532 ETH last week, but still holds a paper loss of 23.8%. The real headline lies ahead: Tom Lee stated at TOKEN2049 that Bitmine will cease ETH purchases once its holdings reach 5%. Currently, it’s just 77,442 ETH away from that target—and at the current pace, it will reach the limit in about a month. In other words, one of the most reliable ETH buying forces in the market will disappear next month. The upcoming support for ETH may need to be reassessed. #Cryptocurrency #BTC #ETH #Treasury

🤔💭Larry Cheng replying “Can’t argue with that!” to “Growth equity > everything else” on Oct. 10th gets my attention. 👀 Especially after putting growth equity over venture capital plus balance sheet over income statement in his own post. Larry is getting real specific about what he likes. 😂 Growth equity is ownership in established businesses with room to expand. Pair the philosophy with $GME’s capital-allocation direction, Bitcoin exposure, public-equity investing plus financing capacity, then my Teddy-as-Berkshire folder gets another page. 🧸 Could Larry simply be talking his own investment book? Absolutely. I’m watching what $GME does with the balance sheet next. A squeeze can move the stock. Owning growing businesses can change what the company is. 👀
