1/ @RobinhoodApp Chain may matter for something bigger than putting stocks onchain. It could mark the point where tokenization stops being mainly an infrastructure story and becomes a consumer product story. https://t.co/LTN0YGLnLS

The stablecoin yield debate is not really about yield. It is about where users keep their digital dollars and which product becomes their primary financial interface. Banks see stablecoin rewards as a threat to deposits. Crypto platforms see them as a reason for users to hold more capital in wallets, spend from the same balance, and return to the product more often. The argument may be framed around interest, but the real competition is for deposits, payments and the customer relationship around both. This changes how stablecoins compete. Speed and low fees are becoming basic infrastructure. The larger opportunity is to build the place where users store money, move it, earn on it and access other financial products without leaving the same ecosystem. A high rate may attract capital for a while. Keeping that capital requires trust, liquidity and enough utility to become part of the user’s everyday financial behavior. Yield is the incentive. Owning the balance relationship is the business.

The “AI vs crypto” narrative feels too simple. It is easy to say that capital is leaving crypto because AI is hotter, or that Bitcoin is weak because the market prefers AI stocks. There is some truth in that, but it misses the bigger picture. AI and crypto are not separate from the same liquidity cycle. When risk appetite is strong, both narratives can expand. When the market gets nervous, both can be repriced quickly. For Bitcoin, this matters because BTC is no longer moving only on crypto-native stories. It now sits inside a broader macro and technology cycle, next to AI, data centers, chips, ETFs and global risk. The opportunity is not to fight the AI narrative. It is to understand what Bitcoin still owns when the market gets noisy: neutral collateral, self-custody and trust-minimized settlement. AI may own the productivity narrative. Bitcoin still owns the trust narrative.

BTCFi continues to reward patience more than constant rotation. This week wasn't about finding the next big opportunity. It was about validating that the current portfolio still makes sense while keeping an eye on where BTC liquidity is actually moving. Report | June 28 — July 3 | BTC Farming Current portfolio performance: • Net yield earned: +2.17% (+0.04%) • Annualized: ~3.53% APR (unchanged) 📍 @Starknet BTC Staking Deposited — 0.05 BTC APR — 2.42% (+0.17%) No changes. Still keeping this as the core BTC staking position. 📍 @vesuxyz Prime Lending Rewards from BTC staking remain deployed into Vesu. APR — 2.48% (+0.10%) The effective yield on this part of the portfolio is now around 3.00% APR (+0.03%). Not a major change, but enough to keep rewards compounding instead of sitting idle. 📍 Hyperithm Delta Neutral cbBTC Vault (Morpho) Deposited — 0.025 BTC APR — 3.41% (-0.59%) Still holding. Monad incentives are still active, so despite the lower displayed APR, I don't see a compelling reason to rotate this position yet. One thing I'm watching here is liquidity. Looking only at TVL in USD doesn't tell the full story when BTC itself is moving. Measuring TVL in BTC shows that capital continues to migrate between protocols, and I'm curious to see where that flow eventually settles. 📍 Lagoon Flagship cbBTC Vault Deposited — 0.025 BTC APR — 4.04% Still holding. The one thing I'm paying attention to is the vault share price. It has been relatively flat, which could indicate that returns are struggling to accumulate beyond the headline APR. I'll give it a bit more time, but Forge Yield is currently the most likely candidate if I decide to rotate this allocation. Overall, the portfolio remains largely unchanged. The market feels quieter than it did a few months ago, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. As incentives normalize, it becomes easier to distinguish sustainable strategies from temporary yield spikes. For now, I don't see a strong reason to rotate capital aggressively. I'd rather stay in positions I understand than move every week for a slightly higher APR.

BTCFi remains stable on the surface, but the opportunity set keeps narrowing. This week was mostly about holding existing positions rather than rotating. APRs moved slightly lower, BTC price weakened, and the cleaner setups still look better than chasing marginally higher yield elsewhere. Report | June 20 — June 27 | BTC Farming Current portfolio performance: • Net yield earned: +2.13% (+0.03%) • Annualized: ~3.53% APR (-0.10%) 📍 @Starknet BTC Staking Deposited — 0.05 BTC APR — 2.25% (-0.63%) No changes. Still keeping this as the main BTC staking position. 📍 @vesuxyz Prime Lending Rewards from BTC staking remain deployed into Vesu. APR — 2.38% (+0.04%) Effective APR on this part of the portfolio is now around 2.97% (-0.04%). The rate moved slightly, but the logic stays the same: keep rewards productive instead of leaving them idle. 📍 Hyperithm Delta Neutral cbBTC Vault (Morpho) Deposited — 0.025 BTC APR — 4.00% (-0.24%) Still holding. I don’t see a strong reason to move this allocation elsewhere right now. 📍 @lagoon_finance Flagship cbBTC Vault Deposited — 0.025 BTC APR — 4.04% No changes. Still one of the more balanced vault positions in the portfolio. Overall, the setup remains steady and predictable week to week. Despite some softening in BTC price and yields, the current allocations continue to perform as expected. The environment is less about chasing aggressive returns and more about maintaining consistency and capital efficiency. There are still opportunities to explore, including higher-yield strategies like looping, but they come with additional complexity and risk. For now, the current structure offers a good balance between yield and manageability. I’m also keeping an eye on Citrea and @ZentraFinance While liquidity dynamics there require attention, the ecosystem still presents selective opportunities worth monitoring. Current approach: Keep BTC productive. Stay in understandable vaults. Avoid unnecessary rotations. Act when opportunities clearly justify it. Overall, the portfolio remains well-positioned, with flexibility to adapt as new opportunities emerge.

The Bitcoin vs AI debate is starting to look less like a narrative debate and more like an infrastructure debate. For years, Bitcoin mining was mostly discussed through hash rate, energy use and network security. Now the same sites, power contracts and data center experience are becoming relevant to another market: AI compute. That changes the frame. AI companies need power, cooling, locations and operational expertise. Bitcoin miners already spent years learning how to secure energy, run large-scale hardware and operate under thin-margin conditions. Some of that infrastructure can now be re-rated for AI and high-performance computing. This does not mean Bitcoin mining disappears into AI. It means the market is starting to price mining infrastructure differently. Energy access, grid relationships and data center execution may become as important as hash rate itself. The interesting question is not “Bitcoin or AI?” It is which operators can understand both sides of the infrastructure stack.

Claude Fable 5 is a useful reminder for crypto builders. The discussion around it is not only about how powerful the model is. It is about access, safeguards, permissions, and what happens when a system becomes capable enough to act across complex workflows. @AnthropicAI launched Fable 5 as a Mythos-class model, then later suspended access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 after a US government export-control directive. That tells you where the conversation is going: power without control becomes a risk surface. #BTCFi has the same problem in a different form. The more we automate routes, vaults, monitoring, and execution, the more important the trust layer becomes. Users should not be asked to blindly follow a black box, especially when #Bitcoin is moving. For Bitcoin products, the future should not be “AI autopilot with your BTC.” It should be guided workflows with clear permissions, route previews, custody labels, risk context, and user-controlled signing. Powerful AI needs guardrails. BTCFi does too.

BTCFi is entering a phase where simply farming incentives is no longer enough. The easy opportunities are disappearing. Some projects are running out of runway, some incentive programs are winding down, and capital is starting to concentrate around ecosystems that can actually sustain long-term activity. Report | May 31 - June 6 | BTC Farming Current portfolio performance: • Net yield earned: +2.04% • Annualized: ~3.70% APR 📍 Starknet BTC Staking Deposited - 0.05 BTC Base APR - 2.57% No changes here. I moved all accumulated rewards into @vesuxyz Prime Lending, currently yielding 2.48%. As a result, the effective yield on this portion of the portfolio increased to ~3.11%. Nothing dramatic, but it's a simple way to make accumulated rewards continue working instead of sitting idle. 📍 Hyperithm Delta Neutral cbBTC Vault → Direct Hyperithm Strategy After thinking it through, I decided to remove an extra layer from the stack. Instead of accessing the strategy through the previous route, I moved directly into the underlying Hyperithm Delta Neutral cbBTC Vault on @Morpho Deposited - 0.025 BTC APR - 3.74% The thesis remains the same: market-neutral BTC yield through basis spreads, funding rates, and structured lending opportunities. Sometimes the best optimization isn't finding a new strategy - it's removing unnecessary intermediaries. 📍 Lagoon Flagship cbBTC Vault Deposited - 0.025 BTC APR - 4.04% No changes. Still one of the more balanced BTCFi positions in the portfolio. The yield isn't the highest available, but the multi-strategy approach and risk-adjusted framework remain attractive compared to many incentive-driven alternatives. The market feels weak right now. Over the next few months, I expect more incentive-heavy programs and weaker ecosystems to struggle or disappear entirely. BTC liquidity is becoming more selective. My current view is that ecosystems like @Stacks , @build_on_bob , @Starknet and @rootstock_io are likely to come out of this period stronger than many others. The next opportunities probably won't come from simple "deposit and farm" products. They'll come from: 1. ecosystem-specific programs 2. private offers and campaigns 3. structured vaults 4. more complex capital strategies I've also looked at leveraged lending and borrowing strategies, but those are much more attractive during sideways markets. When volatility returns, what looks like impermanent loss can quickly become a permanent mistake. For now, the focus remains the same: - Preserve BTC. - Keep it productive. - Stay liquid enough to rotate when better opportunities appear. Most of those opportunities still make it onto my radar through @btc_board before capital moves.

Bitcoin users are often described as conservative I don’t think that is the right word. They are careful. There is a difference. Conservative means you don’t want to try anything new. Careful means you may be open to new opportunities, but only when you understand what happens to your bitcoin:native , where the yield comes from, how you can exit, and what can go wrong. This is important for every BTCFi team trying to attract real users. A higher APY is not enough. A nice interface is not enough either. If the product cannot explain risks, liquidity and exit conditions in plain language, many Bitcoin users will simply stay away. That creates a clear opportunity. The projects that make risk understandable will have a better chance to earn trust, deposits and long-term usage. Not because they promise the highest yield, but because they respect how Bitcoin holders think about capital. I think this is one of the biggest shifts BTCFi needs. Less pressure to copy DeFi habits from other ecosystems. More focus on clarity, control and confidence. Bitcoin users are not impossible to onboard. They just need a reason to trust the path before they move.

BTCFi yields are no longer just about chasing the highest APR. The market is getting more selective. Some incentives cool down, some vaults become less attractive, and capital has to keep moving toward setups that make more sense on a risk-adjusted basis. May 30 update on my $BTC positions: 📍 @Starknet / @htwtech_ validator Position remains unchanged. Still keeping this as one of the simpler and cleaner BTCFi positions in the portfolio. The main change here: I decided to take the accumulated rewards and deploy them into Prime lending on @vesuxyz , currently around ~2.26% APR. Not the highest yield on the market, but that is not really the point here. For accumulated rewards, I prefer a cleaner lending setup over forcing unnecessary risk. 📍 Citrea / @SatsumaDEX LP → Hyperithm Delta Neutral cbBTC Vault I exited the Satsuma position and re-allocated the deposit into the Hyperithm Delta Neutral cbBTC Vault on Monad by @AccountableData The original @citrea_xyz / Satsuma thesis already played out well after the airdrop registration announcement, so I’m fine taking that result and moving the capital forward. The new setup is more strategy-driven: deposited cbBTC is deployed into hedged positions designed to reduce directional market exposure while capturing yield from basis spreads, funding rates, and structured lending opportunities. 📍 @lagoon_finance / Flagship cbBTC Vault Still holding this position. APR is currently around ~4.16%. I continue to like the vault because it is not built around one simple incentive loop. It uses a multi-strategy approach across lending, liquidity provisioning, and structured opportunities, with Tulipa Capital and 9Summits managing the allocation. The bigger takeaway for me: BTCFi is becoming less about “where is the highest number today” and more about understanding what type of yield you are actually taking - lending yield, incentives, basis/funding, vault strategy, or ecosystem rewards. That is also why I’ve been using @btc_board more as my BTCFi opportunity layer lately: to discover setups, compare yield context, and track where BTC capital is actually moving before rotating.
