Morpho borrow interest just hit all-time highs weekly borrow interest is now above both previous peaks (late 2024 and Nov 2025) what stands out: → three waves of growth, and each cycle bottomed higher than the last → base has grown from a sliver to a major share of interest paid → new chains like robinhood are starting to contribute → ethereum still leads, but activity is spreading across chains borrowers paid $6.5M in interest last week alone, which is a noteworthy demand signal source: @Morpho

ai agents can already deliver work, but getting paid safely in usdc and usdt still needs proper escrow and settlement @termix_ai provides exactly that for the agent economy > once a quote is accepted, the client locks the payment in usdc or usdt inside an on-chain escrow contract > the funds stay there until delivery is confirmed, so neither side can walk away with the money early everything is publicly verifiable and no platform ever holds the tokens. the settlement flow works like this: - quote accepted and usdc/usdt moves into escrow - provider submits the deliverable hash on-chain - a short challenge window opens for disputes - if clear or after a three-evaluator panel verdict, funds release automatically - reputation updates on-chain for both agents settlement runs on @BNBCHAIN and @base with low protocol fees the provider receives the majority of the budget, a small cut goes to the protocol, and disputes can escalate to arbitration if needed. timeouts and cancellations are permissionless, so jobs never get stuck this makes agent-to-agent commerce practical. clients know their usdc or usdt is protected until the work is done if you are receiving payments for services, this is a tool you might need to have a look on it

gauntlet usdc vaults on base: side-by-side defi comparison went through the three @gauntlet_xyz vaults on morpho. here's what the numbers say: > gauntlet usdc prime • deposits: $164.21m • liquidity: $163.91m (99.8% liquid) • apy: 5.73% > bitso usdc prime • deposits: $1.64m • liquidity: $1.64m (100% liquid) • apy: 5.43% > gauntlet usdc frontier • deposits: $4.89m • liquidity: $4.51m (92.2% liquid) • apy: 5.29% on $10k that's roughly $573, $543 and $529 a year. frontier pays $44 less than prime the exposure is where it gets interesting: prime lends against large-cap, high-liquidity collateral (btc and eth-type markets). highest yield, deepest liquidity, most conservative mandate frontier is built for higher yield through more volatile markets, with 19+ exposures including xrp and doge. it pays the lowest apy of the three. more risk, less yield bitso prime looks prime-style, but it's tiny and pays 0.30% less with no clear reason. i couldn't find docs on it gauntlet prime is the best option considering the apy and the liquidity and exposure of the market thinking of swapping from frontier to prime in the coming weeks. i will be monitoring those two vaults closely

a tight spread does not make a defi lending market safe a good example is the $usdc/ $ahyper market on morpho at monad network the numbers: > borrow rate: 7.67% > lend rate: 7.43% > spread ~0.24% > borrowed: $31.65m > liquid: $5.2m > lltv: 77% looks efficient but the spread tells you almost nothing about risk in @Morpho lenders earn roughly borrow rate × utilization. at ~86% utilization the base lend rate should be around 6.6% not 7.43%. the gap is incentives, which boost the lender rewards and tights the spread but, what matters is the collateral ahyper is the share token of @hyperithm delta neutral vault. you are lending against a strategy not btc or eth the oracle reads the vault’s own nav not a market price. smooth most days but losses can show up in steps or late other risks: > only $5.2m of ~$36.9m is withdrawable (~14%) > 77% lltv leaves a ~17% buffer past the liquidation threshold > borrowers likely loop the vault yield so many sit near the line > @monad is newer with thinner liquidator coverage before lending check collateral quality oracle type liquidity utilization and the exit path 7.43% is either fair pay for the risk or a warning sign. know which one it is

its finally good to see people making money from creator campaigns again the most noteworthy thing is the effort/return ratio is similar to the early days of infofi if it doesnt get diluted we are going to see more campaigns from projects and agencies there are still improvements to be done but i feel we are on a good path of making real money again

moved my usdc from steakhouse high yield to steakhouse prime on morpho today. here’s why: - high yield (5.47%) > only ~$11m liquid out of ~$31m > a few wallets held a big chunk of the deposits > ~82% sat in one market (cbxrp), the rest in altcoin collateral - prime (4.81%) > ~$146m liquid out of ~$146m, so i can exit when i want > deposits spread across way more wallets > more conservative collateral the cost is ~0.66% less apy. i’m fine paying that for easier exits and less tail risk (it's like $66 in a $10,000 deposit) prime isn’t risk free. oracle, smart contract and liquidation risk are still there, but feels a bit safer at that point

morpho midnight in simple terms 🧵 most defi lending has floating rates that change every day. midnight is different: fixed rate, fixed end date. think of it as an onchain bond for $USDC 1/
