What if your on-chain lending protocol could hide positions the same way a bank hides your mortgage? In traditional finance nobody sees your loan size, rate, or how close you are to liquidation. On most chains everyone does. In normal DeFi lending markets people can watch who is underwater and push the price to liquidate them. Large borrowers and lenders know their positions are public, so many stay small or stay off-chain. It works for degen leverage. It doesn’t work well for real money. Seismic lets the protocol shield balances, collateral, and thresholds. The market still functions and stays composable, but the sensitive details stop being visible to everyone. Regulators or partners can still get access when needed through controlled disclosure. I keep coming back to this: this is the version of DeFi that actually feels usable for private credit, institutional lending, or yield products instead of just speculative trading. Privacy changes what kind of money shows up. @SeismicSys
