this is the right choice for the long-term sustainability of the protocol. i think people are rightfully pissed bc of the change in tokenomics, but i think better to change it now than further down the line. i am ofc disappointed bc i signed up to play a short-term game, but at the same time happy that blurr/jez are building a long-term game. we need more long-term games in crypto.

agree w this. I think it takes off if; 1) higher hashpower = more secure than BTC narrative takes off 2) neoclouds onboarded (successful Fp8 upgrade) and are aligned on the vision (don’t sell)

quantum hurting bitcoin was a topic i discussed with many allocators at Token2049 majority of people still think a crypto-relevant quantum computer will only be here in 30+ years, and that a CRQC isn't an issue for btc. but remember if you are long AI tech, you are inherently long the advancement of Quantum tech. AI accelerates Quantum.
