KudiX have officially joined the Circle Alliance Program from @circle We’re building KudiX around a simple idea: make stablecoins and onchain finance easier to access from Africa, starting with Nigeria. In less than 2 months, we’ve crossed: 12K+ users ₦2B+ in volume $993K in stablecoin volume Now we’re joining a network of builders working on the next generation of financial infrastructure. There’s a lot we want to build around USDC, payments, cross-border transactions, local settlement and multichain finance, and I’m excited about what this opens up for KudiX. Still day 1 and building...

If you're building a product, especially as a startup founder, once your MVP is ready just release it, sometimes what you think is the right solution is completely different from what users actually need. My strategy is always to put it in their hands, listen to them, watch how they use it and keep iterating with them. This works perfectly during KudiX first week. A lot of the things we've changed came directly from users, sometimes it's a suggestion in the chat, sometimes it's a random comment, and sometimes it's a complaint that makes you realise there's a bigger problem behind it. Your PMF can literally be sitting inside your community chat. But one thing though, don't compromise your standards just because you're on day one. Ship early. Listen. Improve. But keep the standard high.

Most on-chain products are build around crypto-native users who already understand wallets, stablecoins, bridges, gas fees and DEXs. For many people in Africa, that is a completely different world. They earn and spend in local currency, but increasingly want access to digital assets and on-chain markets. The gap between those two worlds is the problem we are trying to solve at KudiX.

One thing building KudiX is teaching me is that security can never be an afterthought, you can spend all your time building features and chasing growth, but the moment people start trusting you with their money, everything changes. 2 days ago i found an issue in one of our trading flows that could have been abused around price updates and fast trades, i stopped it and yesterday i couldn't sleep throughout the night up to now until i fix the whole flow and make sure everything is in control. I'm not sharing this to make KudiX look perfect. It's the opposite. We're still early and things will break sometimes. What matters is how fast you find them, fix them and make sure they don't happen again. We are adding more checks, limits and better settlement systems because I don't want growth at the expense of users' funds. The money in KudiX is not just numbers on a dashboard. It's someone's money. And as a founder, that's something I take very seriously, protecting our users' funds will always come before growth.
