$SPCX is reportedly exploring a potential acquisition of Boost Mobile or access to its network as Elon Musk moves closer to launching a full-scale wireless service in the U.S. The real value isn't just Boost's roughly 7 million subscribers. It's the existing 5G infrastructure and billing systems, which could help SpaceX expand into major cities much faster, especially where satellite coverage alone may struggle to meet demand. However, there's a major hurdle. Boost depends on $T and $TMUS for network coverage, meaning any transfer of those agreements could require their approval. That's an awkward position for Elon, as his wireless ambitions may depend on the very carriers he hopes to challenge.
