South Korea's exports nearly doubled in October, up 93.7% from a year earlier to $115.3B, the fastest growth since January 1974. Chips did most of the work: semiconductor shipments rose 259% to $56.4B, almost half of all exports. Computer exports, mostly AI server SSDs, jumped 497%. Jan–Oct exports reached $930B, so the $1T annual mark is likely to fall this month. A bellwether worth watching into the Asia open. $EWY
