During the week of the launch of PREDICT pre-market contracts, Predict Fun set new records across all key metrics: - As the core revenue driver for the prediction market platform, Predict Fun’s weekly fees reached $2.2 million, a new all-time high, marking the second consecutive week with fees exceeding $2 million. - Predict Fun’s signature short-term markets, exemplified by BTC short-term price movements, have seen BTC market notional trading volumes exceed $100 million for two consecutive weeks, contributing over $1 million in weekly fees. - Driven by the strong performance of BTC short-term markets, Predict Fun’s overall weekly notional trading volume surpassed $200 million for the first time since the World Cup. - Beyond short-term markets, sports markets form the second major pillar, with football markets consistently generating tens of millions in weekly trading volume and a comparable number of unique trading addresses to BTC markets—football market weekly unique addresses also exceeded 25,000. - As a platform focused on short-term markets, Predict Fun’s number of trades has nearly every week hit new highs, surpassing 6 million trades for the first time in the past week. With TGE approaching, Predict Fun’s strategic direction is clear: leveraging BTC short-term markets as the primary growth engine and sports markets as a stable foundation, creating a dual-driver model that continues to enhance both trading activity and commercialization capabilities.

Short-term price fluctuation markets have become the deciding factor in the competition for market leadership. Kalshi’s momentum far surpasses Polymarket, primarily driven by trading volume from the BTC 15-minute market and its Combo markets—even the BTC 15-minute market is beginning to rival non-combined sports markets. Polymarket’s growth has not been as consistent as Kalshi’s, partly because its short-term 5-minute and 15-minute markets are locked in a battle with Predict Fun. Predict Fun has closed the gap with Polymarket in the 5-minute market, achieving higher trading volume, more active users, and greater transaction counts by offering lower fees and continuously improving liquidity.

The Arc network's daily fees have been under $3,000 for multiple consecutive days. This level is comparable to Bitlayer and Sui, placing its chain fees outside the top 20. https://t.co/ObIFsFw14u

Predict Fun generated $313,000 in daily fees, marking the second time it has surpassed $300,000 in a single day since the World Cup final, ranking fourth on the BNB Chain protocol fee leaderboard. While many prediction market platforms saw declining activity or ceased operations after the World Cup, Predict Fun experienced significant secondary growth. The core driver behind this surge is short-term price movement markets, such as BTC 5min, which contributed over 60% of total fees. In the most recent complete trading day, Predict Fun’s Crypto 5min market set a new daily trading volume record, outperforming Polymarket across all three core metrics: trading volume, unique traders, and number of trades. Additionally, Predict Fun continues to grow in its 15min markets, TradFi, and Esports segments—particularly in the 15min market, which is steadily capturing market share from Polymarket. Keep up the great work @dingalingts @yuexiaoyu @predictdotfun 🫡

After the World Cup, the development directions of leading prediction markets have gradually diverged. Kalshi is solidifying its advantages in off-chain, compliant, and sports-focused markets, while expanding into perpetual DEXs. Polymarket is pushing hard into the U.S. market and perpetual DEXs, but has seen reduced engagement and attention from the Web3 community. Predict Fun focuses on short-term price movements in crypto and stocks, and provides support for event contracts on CEXs. The first two appear to be drifting further away from Web3—Kalshi has always been centralized, and Polymarket operates with a Web2 mindset. Although both are entering the perpetual DEX space, their primary goal remains inflating valuations and expanding into non-prediction businesses to sustain high valuations. Predict Fun’s approach is more native to Web3: it anchors itself in short-term price movements and continuously deepens liquidity in sports, esports, TradFi, and Asian markets. As meme-driven crypto users significantly shorten their holding periods, this new trading format—short-term price movements and event contracts—has the potential to capture increasing trading volume. In a sense, betting on Predict Fun’s valuation is also a bet on this time-slice market. Whether it’s 5-minute or 15-minute price movement markets, Polymarket’s users are migrating to Predict Fun: from just 2% of user market share at the end of May, it now holds a 55-45 split against Polymarket. Beyond crypto price movements, Predict Fun is also prioritizing the development of stock prediction markets, becoming the first platform to launch 15-minute stock price movement prediction markets.

Formerly popular LRT projects are gradually transitioning. EtherFi appears to be one of the relatively more successful transitions. Currently, EtherFi generates weekly revenues of $700,000–$900,000, with its U-card, EtherFi Cash, contributing nearly 60%. Recently, EtherFi Cash’s daily transaction volume peaked above $7 million, setting a new high. EtherFi is gradually shifting toward a cash flow + token buyback model. https://t.co/RaiFM7Byf0

Lately, there’s been a lot of discussion about Fables on CT, so I took advantage of the remaining free days on Dune to pull some data: - Since mid-August—roughly one month—Fables’ TVL has surpassed $30 million, with over $9 million in net inflows in the past three days. - The ETH/USDG pool accounts for half of the total TVL; other pools exceeding $1 million in TVL include PONS/USDG, GLD/USDG, and SPY/USDG. - Daily trading volume on Fables has ranged between $50 million and $80 million; over 10,000 unique addresses have executed cross-pool trades, primarily concentrated in ETH/USDG. - Fables distributes approximately $100,000–$150,000 in daily fees to liquidity providers (LPs). - The Fables Treasury has claimed over $28,000 in trading fees from PROLOGUE tokens, with $8,600 already distributed as rewards to eligible LPs. Arc mainnet surpassed one million addresses within two days of launch. However, after the team revealed themselves, the community panicked upon realizing the team was entirely Indian. Arc DEX trading volume dropped from over $410 million on day one to $130 million. Network daily fees fell from approximately $280,000 on day one to around $50,000. Launchpad is a new kind of "new Meme." According to incomplete data from DeFiLlama, there are already over 250 Launchpads in the market. Only two have daily fees exceeding $1 million: Pons and Pump. Four have daily fees between $100,000 and $1 million: Flap, StonkFun, LaunchLab, and BONKfun. Ten have daily fees between $10,000 and $100,000, and sixteen have daily fees between $1,000 and $10,000... https://t.co/chxAqYbHeJ
