KEEP CALM WITH AI I’m getting more comfortable with the scale of this. Past revolutions didn’t look like this. Steam engine, car, Facebook, Amazon — they all started in a workshop, a garage, or a dorm room. Fifty grand was enough to get going. AI is different. You need billions just to sit at the table. The only real comparisons are the big state efforts: WWII industrial mobilization and the Cold War space race. Massive resources, no one asking about profit, because the stakes were “the homeland.” Two ways this can play out: A) Companies actually turn all this capital into real productivity gains and get rewarded for it. B) It gets framed as a national security issue and the profit discussion quietly takes a back seat. The scale is large because the stakes are large. That has happened before. The difference is that this time the primary actors, so far, have been private companies operating under profit-and-loss constraints — until or unless the “homeland” framing takes over.

Here is how you will survive AI. A human cannot beat AI in convergent thinking. Evidence, facts, reasoning.. that is AI realm. Divergent thinking is the way to survive AI. You need to be creative. You need to ask the question! Now you need to figure out: What is the question? https://t.co/PCk7YLzCAD
