To The Ascension Lightworker Collective: The Necessary Withdrawal: Returning to the Self: On the conscious awakening and ascension path, there comes a stage when withdrawal becomes a necessary part of inner transformation. This is not about hiding from the world, rejecting others, or giving up on life. It is about turning inward, reclaiming your energy and becoming conscious of the projections, conditioning and unconscious patterns that have influenced how you see yourself and others. As awareness deepens, you begin to recognise where you have idealised others, placed blame outside yourself, or reacted to qualities in another that may reflect something within your own unacknowledged shadow. Through shadow work, these projections are gradually withdrawn, allowing you to see others more clearly and take greater responsibility for your own inner world. During this process, you will likely find yourself stepping back from social activities, relationships, familiar roles and environments that once held meaning for you. Your previous motivations no longer feel authentic, and the things that once occupied your attention eventually lose their appeal. The Inner Work of Withdrawal: individuation teaches us that becoming whole requires us to recognise and integrate the unconscious aspects of the self , rather than continuing to project them onto others. We may idealise someone because they appear to possess qualities not yet recognised within , or react strongly to another because they reflect something not yet acknowledged within the shadow self . As these projections are withdrawn, you begin to see others more clearly, without the same unconscious expectations, attachments or judgements. This process also changes self’s relationship with the outside world. Now becoming less dependent on external validation, approval and familiar roles . The period of withdrawal allows self observation more honestly, recognising what has been driving choices and integrating the parts of self you may have rejected or misunderstood. The purpose is not to become detached from humanity, but to become less unconscious in how we relate to it. Through this growing awareness, we move towards greater inner wholeness, personal responsibility and a more authentic expression of the self. There is a phase of inner quietness, emptiness and uncertainty as the old self identity structures and false self patterns loosen their hold, while a deeper sense of self has not yet fully emerged. This is an important part of individuation, the journey towards wholeness, where you begin to live less from conditioning, external validation and the expectations of others, and more from conscious awareness, inner truth and authentic alignment. Necessary withdrawal is not permanent isolation, or an open invitation to escape from life’s responsibilities. It is a time of turning inward so that the inner work can take place without the constant influence of external noise, expectations and distractions, learning to distinguish between what belongs to your authentic self and what you have carried through conditioning, attachment and the need for outer approval. As this process unfolds, the relationship with yourself and others begins to change, becoming more selective about where you place your time, energy and attention, not because you dislike people, but because you are developing greater discernment about what genuinely supports your wellbeing and growth. The ascension journey is all about expanding consciousness, it involves integrating the shadow, releasing false identities and reclaiming the aspects of self that have been projected outward or left unacknowledged. The most meaningful progress happens in the quietest times of life, when there is less need to seek answers outside and more willingness to listen within. Allowing the space to reflect, integrate and discover who you are beyond the roles you have carried. We are at the cusp of a new manifestation era. And you will feel the change over the coming months. Energetically, we are benefiting from the New Earth energy field — with which we have been constantly merging and recalibrating over the past months. Hence all the shadow work, as nothing but light can prevail. The less density and the higher the frequency, the faster the field can respond. In terms of manifestation, that can be both good and bad news. Because the field responds faster in every direction. Depending on where your focus lies. I currently hear about a lot of confusion and frustration around themes of abundance in the community. Why, after all those years of inner work, does abundance still not show up in the physical? Well, for one, energy always comes first. The emotional and mental fields realign, building new ground. This changes the polarity, the magnetism — and from there, the physical can take on new forms. But that’s not all. There is often a natural gap, at the beginning of a new stage, between spiritual development and its very human expression. Many here have focused for years on their healing and spiritual path. Something beautiful has grown from that. And it’s not an illusion. However, during those years, the very human side may have been neglected. Often expressed through more solitude, friendships fading, or leaving jobs and other aspects of everyday life behind. Embodiment doesn’t mean neglecting one side. It means living both — the spiritual and the material. Integrating both. Loving and celebrating both. For thousands of years, the spiritual — God, the Divine — was seen as separate from the physical, from the human. In many spiritual traditions, the pursuit of enlightenment was associated with renunciation and withdrawal from worldly life — in caves, monasteries, or secluded places. Spiritual purity became associated with poverty, asceticism and detachment from material desires. And while this is often a necessary step within our spiritual evolution - both historically and in our very own lives - it may not be the end goal. Not only are we now meant to rediscover the Divine within us, but we are meant to bring it into the physical world through embodiment. To participate in the creation of New Earth. A good heart takes us far. But New Earth also needs resources. Resources that can finance new systems and structures. That give us the freedom to create and contribute in meaningful ways. Our work and influence in the world can grow with material abundance. Our nervous systems thrive with a certain amount of security. And money can bring freedom. It can bring many blessings when held and spent in creative and sustainable ways. We are at a point where new timelines are being formed. But to inhabit them requires a new relationship with the physical world. A willingness to receive, to participate and to create. The perfect dance between the feminine and masculine energies within us. Paired with the Soul who wants nothing but joy for us. The planets are currently supporting us in our process. Venus rebirth. Taurus Full Moon. It’s a good time to become more conscious of where your focus lies. Where lack sneaks into your mind. Where old fears determine your choices.
