JPM Coin's expansion to @ethereum brings a bank deposit token onto another public blockchain. It does not open the product to everyone. Our latest guide compares tokenized deposits and reserve-backed payment stablecoins through three questions: who owes the money, who can use the product, and how holders can exit or redeem. We also explain why shared blockchain infrastructure does not establish a live integration between deposit tokens and tokenized funds.

Stablecoins vs Bank Transfers: Costs, Speed and Risks A small network fee does not reveal the full cost of an international payment. A fast token transfer does not establish when the recipient can spend local currency. Our guide compares funding, exchange rates, cash-out charges, payout timing and recovery options. A worked hypothetical example shows how to compare the recipient's net amount using the same sender budget and destination. The goal is a useful comparison of the complete payment route, with conditions and risks made explicit.

Bitcoin traded at $82,239, up 0.76% over the preceding 24 hours, in Rootstone’s Friday morning snapshot. Four of the five tracked assets advanced. Solana led the group with a 1.02% gain to $105.35. Ether rose 0.81% to $2,438.09, while XRP added 0.57% to $1.34. BNB was the only decliner, slipping 0.11% to $728.59. The @federalreserve’s industrial production and capacity utilization report is scheduled for later today. Watch whether Solana retains its lead and whether BNB rejoins the advancing assets through the U.S. session. Any change in the lineup should be assessed alongside the release and trading conditions, rather than attributed to the report alone.

Bitcoin ETF outflows do not tell the whole trading story. Net flows, trading volume and assets under management measure different things. Reading one as another can turn a useful observation into a misleading market conclusion. Our guide explains how ETF creations and redemptions work, why cash and in-kind redemptions differ, and how fund assets can rise even during net outflows. It includes a comparison table and hypothetical examples for reading daily and weekly data, with practical checks for reporting windows, missing observations and source differences. The focus is on what the numbers establish, which questions require more evidence, and how to avoid treating every flow as a price forecast.

The GENIUS Act's compliance deadline lands on January 18, 2027, but the rules that will define it are still being written. Four federal regulators, including the U.S. Department of the Treasury, have proposed rules covering reserve requirements, the ban on paying yield to holders, and licensing for Tether's USDT, Circle's USDC, and every other payment stablecoin sold in the United States. This analysis breaks down what the law requires today, and what remains unresolved as the deadline approaches.

Crypto markets faced a legislative setback and higher interest rates, alongside progress in tokenized-stock trading and renewed Bitcoin ETF inflows. ↳ The CLARITY Act failed to advance in a US Senate procedural vote, leaving the proposed crypto market-structure framework stalled. ↳ The @federalreserve raised its policy rate by 25 basis points to 3.75–4.00%, tightening the monetary backdrop for risk assets. ↳ The Securities and Exchange Commission announced five-year conditional exemptions for eligible tokenized-stock trading venues and liquidity providers. ↳ US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds attracted $433 million on September 18, led by $310.7 million in inflows to @Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund.

Solana, BNB and Ether are outperforming Bitcoin over the same 24-hour window, highlighting the divergence among these major assets.

The CLARITY Act failed a Senate cloture vote on September 15 by 49 to 50, falling 11 short of the 60 needed to begin floor debate. Every Democrat voted no, joined by four Republicans. $BTC fell 2.6% to $76,350. @coinbase dropped roughly 6%, Circle 5.6%, @Strategy 4.6%. Crypto market structure now defaults to agency rulemaking. The @CFTC and @SECGov have both been building frameworks for months, and between the March joint interpretation and August's proposed Regulation Crypto Assets, they have already replicated much of what the bill would have codified. What they cannot replicate is permanence. A future commission can rewrite a rule through the same process that created it. Only Congress can rewrite a law. Our latest research covers why it failed, whether the reconsideration motion means anything, and what the agency-led alternative actually delivers.
