When you’re looking at multisig but you’re scared & don’t know where to start: @bluewalletio and @nunchuk_io make it easy on mobile, start with 1 hot key on your phone then add any 2 cold keys (you prob already have 1) or just use Seedsigner for the 2 cold keys and go from there

Why I prefer picking words directly for creating your own bitcoin seeds over dice rolls: - it’s more direct, no derivation step = smaller trusted base - You can verify a seed you picked word by word without a second tool - Exact entropy accounting. Each word carries log2(2048) = 11 bits. For 12 words: 11 × 11 + 7 free bits in the last word = 128 bits Just make sure to shake things up really well between each pick and put picked words back after you’ve written them down. Use a tool like @SeedSigner to calculate the final word. Simple

Decentralisation in bitcoin: "Yes, we must!" Decentralisation in your own setup: "Nah, too complex" MULTISIG = DECENTRALISATION Every signer has it's flaws, but: https://t.co/YEK7v8ZhTr

Hardware wallets are getting shredded right now with the Coldcard entropy bug and the Ledger supply chain attacks DIY and Multi vendor multi sig Are entrenching themselves as beacons of self custody So DIY Seedsigner builds as part of multisig Which is why Cardsigner will also be available as DIY

If you haven’t spent from an address yet the public key is not shown onchain and there is nothing to quantumhack (derive private key from public key) It really is quite simple folks Quantum is FUD

We’re all Elon fanbois here, me too, but this is simply false. This launch was 1% capacity of international, like transatlantic cables, bandwidth launch. Not global Huge difference Most traffic doesn’t leave the continent

Shielded bitcoin peg-in and peg-out is awful trustful design and NOT part of the published protocol, that was only MY proof of concept. People should get that distinction, it's quite fundamental. The boundary protocol is explicitly missing and will be added in the future.
