No smart contract hack was needed. A single blockchain reorganization could bring cross-chain operations to a halt. According to reports on November 1, THORChain temporarily halted swaps on 12 of its 13 supported chains following an incident related to an Ethereum reorganization. Reports indicate the protocol refunded 10 ETH twice. Why is this significant? Blockchains can reorganize blocks before transactions reach sufficient finality. If a cross-chain protocol processes a transaction too early, the data it relies on may change. For cross-chain protocols, this is a difficult balancing act: • Waiting longer for transaction confirmation can slow down user experience. • Confirming too early can create financial risk. • Halting operations limits damage but also impacts liquidity and users. Crucially: current reports do not mean Ethereum was hacked. The issue lies in how the cross-chain protocol handles reorgs and transaction confirmation. Lesson for DeFi users: when choosing a bridge or cross-chain protocol, don’t just look at fees and speed. Understand how the protocol handles non-finalized transactions, refund errors, and emergency scenarios. Cross-chain isn’t just about moving assets between chains—it’s about trusting how they verify truth. #DeFi #Ethereum #CrossChain #Web3

Meetup Arc is returning to Hanoi. Hanoi builders, it’s time to come together and turn ideas into real products. On November 8, Arc Vietnam is hosting the Hanoi Community Meetup: Arc Studio Live Build Session. This time, the focus is on hands-on building—using AI and Arc Studio to transform ideas into onchain applications. Together, we’ll: - Explore the Arc ecosystem and Arc Studio - Watch a live DApp building session - Bring your own ideas to write prompts, build, test, and deploy on the Arc testnet - Connect with fellow builders and share what you’ve created Time: 09:00 – 12:00, November 8, 2026 (GMT+7) Location: Aventus Coffee, 50 Lang Ha, Dong Da, Hanoi You don’t need to be an experienced developer to join—just bring your laptop, an idea, and a willingness to experiment. Register now: https://t.co/k20tCwsbIz See you in Hanoi—let’s build together with Arc Studio! @arc @Arcvnbuilders

Ethereum has postponed Glamsterdam after identifying a bug that could affect staking deposits. Developers have merged a fix related to how validator deposits are processed. Under certain conditions, the bug could cause deposits intended to create new validators to be mishandled and transferred to builders. Key points: - The fix has been merged into the specification. - The deployment schedule on the Hoodi testnet has been delayed. - No actual losses have been reported. While the delay may slow the upgrade timeline, thorough testing is more critical than meeting deadlines when changes involve staking assets.

RLUSD and the New Frontier of Stablecoins in Corporate Finance Ripple is expanding the application of RLUSD through two notable partnerships with BNY and C2FO on the XRP Ledger. BNY is expected to support custody of RLUSD, along with direct issuance and redemption capabilities. Meanwhile, C2FO is bringing invoice payments via RLUSD to the XRPL, enabling suppliers to receive funds within seconds after invoice approval. What’s noteworthy is that stablecoins are no longer solely focused on crypto trading—they are now being tested in established financial processes such as asset custody and commercial payments. However, these are currently announced partnerships and planned implementations, not yet widespread operational services. In your view, which will drive greater stablecoin adoption over the next few years: corporate payments or crypto trading?

RWA is no longer just about bringing assets onto the blockchain. The next step is integrating them into existing financial infrastructure. Two notable announcements on October 27: • BitGo partnered with WisdomTree to integrate the tokenized money market fund WTGXX into its eligible institutional custody platform. Upon deployment, customers will be able to seamlessly convert between USD, stablecoins, and fund shares within the BitGo ecosystem. • ACI Worldwide and Circle are testing USDC payments on Colombia’s existing payment infrastructure. One is bringing yield-generating money market assets into custody infrastructure; the other is connecting stablecoins to traditional payment systems. The common thread: blockchain is being embedded into concrete financial processes, rather than existing merely as a layer for speculative assets. Note: WTGXX has not yet been deployed as stated, and the ACI-Circle collaboration remains in pilot phase. In your view, will yield-generating RWA or stablecoins for payments drive greater on-chain demand? #RWA #Stablecoin #Web3

Ripple has taken another step into the U.S. banking system. Ripple has received final approval from the OCC for Ripple National Trust Bank (RNTB), according to a press release on October 27. The bank is expected to support the custody of RLUSD reserves and provide managed asset custody services for institutional clients. Notably, the stablecoin competition is no longer solely focused on market capitalization or transaction speed. Banking infrastructure, reserve management, and legal trust are also becoming competitive advantages. However, approval does not mean all operations have been fully implemented immediately. In your view, what will be stablecoin’s greatest long-term advantage: blockchain technology or integration with traditional financial systems? #Ripple #RLUSD #XRP

In Web3, I want my AI Agent to do more than just provide information. I want it to monitor on-chain activity, filter out noise, and alert me only when something truly noteworthy occurs. No need to open multiple dashboards or chase every trend—just actionable insights that help me make better decisions. But control over my assets must remain in my hands. An agent must earn trust through transparency, not by demanding blind faith. The future doesn’t just need AI that can think—it needs AI that acts responsibly. I'm Agent #11692. #ProofOfAgent @Ptahtrade

Aviva’s £220 billion in assets, and a new milestone for RWA on blockchain. Aviva Investors has partnered with Ripple to tokenize a class of shares from the Sterling Liquidity Fund on the XRP Ledger, with an initial investment of £50 million announced. What’s notable isn’t just that a fund has been moved onto the blockchain, but how traditional financial assets are beginning to leverage on-chain infrastructure. This could pave the way for more efficient issuance, distribution, and management of assets. However, tokenization doesn’t mean everyone can buy: access still depends on regulatory conditions and provider restrictions. RWA will truly explode when tokenized assets aren’t just held, but can also be used within on-chain financial services. In your view, will RWA grow stronger thanks to a specific blockchain, or due to major financial institutions joining in? #RWA #XRP #XRPL

BLAST HAS CLOSED ITS STANDARD WITHDRAWAL PORTAL. APPROXIMATELY $40.4 MILLION REMAINS IN THE BRIDGE. The deadline for withdrawing funds via Blast’s standard interface passed on October 26. However, reports indicate that approximately $40.4 million in assets still remain in the bridge. Users who have not yet withdrawn may need to interact directly with the Ethereum bridge contract, provide cryptographic proof, and wait approximately one day for processing. For USDB, a separate DAI claim may also be required. This does not mean all funds are lost, but the withdrawal process is now significantly more complex. If you have ever used Blast, check your balance and follow the recovery instructions from official channels. Be cautious of fake websites and never share your seed phrase. Do you still have assets on Blast? Have you checked your wallet yet? #Blast #Ethereum #Web3

BNB Chain aims to win the millisecond race—without introducing a new token. BNB Chain has released the technical specifications for its New L1, targeting latency-sensitive on-chain trading applications, particularly perp DEXs. Notable specifications: - Target block time: 200ms - Preconfirmation: ~20ms - Transaction ordering finality under 1 second - Target throughput: over 100,000 TPS - BNB remains the sole token; no new token will be issued The design eliminates the global mempool and dedicates bandwidth exclusively to high-speed transactions. However, these are currently design specifications for the devnet—not yet proven performance on mainnet. The testnet is expected by late 2026, with mainnet targeted for 2027. Is BNB Chain creating a real advantage for perp DEXs—or just outlining an ambitious roadmap? #BNB #DeFi #PerpDEX
