We have seen a lot of Benlios and Majesty88s in all the years we have been in this space. More will be caught eventually though no one has the time to look closely in every art. The fact is when a whale collectors buys an art, it is “Genius.” “Visionary.” “Incredible taste.” Here’s a thought: - Judge the art without checking who owns it. Your eyes shouldn’t be influenced by someones’s wallet. - Stop polishing collectors’ egos. Their collection are not always “gems”. - Don’t be fooled by artist’s sob stories. We need collectors who look closely and artists who make their own work. At this rate, the most original thing in the room will be the apology.

I don’t want to feel like an institutional investor. I want to understand what I’m being offered. @grvt_io aims to bring fixed income opportunities traditionally associated with banks and institutions into an onchain account. Its upcoming Earn offering targets up to 11% APY on eligible assets, with no guaranteed return. Eligible balances could potentially keep earning while backing trades. I like the direction. More people could access these strategies and decide how they fit alongside their trading. The self custodial approach matters to me too. GRVT describes an account controlled through the user’s own key. I would still examine the investment risks. Holding the key does not stop an underlying asset from losing value. For me, better access means being able to understand the terms, make a choice and retain control. What would make you comfortable trying this: clearer withdrawal rules, more detail about the assets, or a full explanation of the risks?

Yesterday, I wrote about @grvt_io burning 1.1 million GRVT. Grvt has a public dashboard showing purchases, the percentage of circulating supply involved, total burns and transaction hashes. An independent execution partner handles purchases for the Foundation’s token issuer. That gives a curious person somewhere to go beyond the announcement. I like this because a community should have room for people who check things. As Grvt prepares its 2.0 rollout, I want that habit to carry over to the products too. What would you check first on a buyback dashboard: the amount purchased or the transaction showing the burn?

Grvt bought 1.1 million GRVT on the open market and permanently burned them. Nearly 1% of circulating supply at the time. The part I find interesting is what nobody can do with those tokens tomorrow. Nobody can sell them from the treasury, vote to spend them or change their purpose. Burning removes those choices. That gives me something concrete to assess. A roadmap asks me to believe a team will act. This action has already happened. It opens few announcements leading to Grvt 2.0, with earning and trading products coming next. I’ll judge those as they arrive. For now, I give credit for completing something people can verify. When a project announces a buyback, do you check where the tokens end up? Buying them is only part of the story. @grvt_io

I can become someone I once only imagined. Every choice gives that person a little more shape. What I learn. What I practise. What I finally dare to try. I wonder how much of my future I’ve mistaken for something already decided. “Blueprint of a Self from The Red Skull series 1/1 | 0.111E (link below)
