If a landlord poured your pint 80 percent beer and topped it up with water, there would be uproar. Trading Standards. Headlines. Outrage. The government dilutes your money every year. Same outcome. Same dilution. One happens at the bar. The other happens in your bank account. Your wages rise. What they buy falls. You work longer for less. They call the beer a scandal. They call the money normal. You work. They take. The pint would never be allowed. The money is.

They called tulips a bubble. They called the internet a bubble. They called Bitcoin a bubble. Now they are calling AI a bubble. The pound in your pocket has lost most of its value. You still get paid in it. You still save in it. You still plan your life around it. Every year you work longer for less. Every year the number goes up and the value it buys goes down. They never call that a bubble. They call it normal. The bubble is the currency.

Bills keep rising because the pound is getting weaker. 1.7 million will not turn the heating on this winter. They cannot afford it. Your mortgage costs more. Your energy costs more. Your cash loses to debasement. Measure the same things in Bitcoin and they have got cheaper every single year. That is the choice. Work harder for less forever. Or opt out.

They finally said it. The deficits do not stop. The choices are tax you, borrow more, or weaken the pound. They will talk gold. They will talk “real assets.” Ask them about Bitcoin and the old lines come out. Gets hacked. Too volatile. Used by criminals. Those were all debunked and answered years ago . They are not questions. They are a delay. They are excuses not to act. People will accept the debt. They will not accept the thing they cannot print. The ones who wait for permission will buy it off the ones who did not. You are running out of time...

By 2027 Britain spends £117 billion just on the interest. It only borrows £96.5 billion that year according to forecasts. More on the old debt than the new debt. The country will still owe over £3.2 trillion at that point. Five years of interest. £682 billion. £58 billion more than they told you in March this year. This doom loop is accelerating. That is your tax. That is your mortgage. That is the bill before any improvements for the UK is paid. Budget is 28 October. They will tax you, borrow more, or debase the pound and not call it that. They cannot print Bitcoin. Bitcoin is $85,900 this morning.

He put £10,000 in the bank. Next day he asked for it back. 24 hour notice needed they said. Call the Business Centre first they said. They would not even say if his cash was in the building. He left with nothing. This is NOT how solvent countries act. It is your money until you want it. Then it is theirs. Bitcoin is how you opt out!

Yesterday ran on cheap money and labour. Tomorrow runs on cheap energy and compute. We spent thirty years making ours dear. On purpose. We emit under one percent of the world’s CO2. Yet we pay some of the highest power prices in the rich world. We shut the North Sea. Then we buy the same oil and gas back for twice the cost. That is not saving the planet. That is a country going broke so they can feel holy. Dear energy is a choice to get poorer and the UK is becoming poor and fast. They force this on us. They are forcing us to become poor. Why?

The Bank of England held at 3.75. Hiking into this would have been madness. Unemployment 4.9. Youths already near the highs. Private jobs falling. Tax at peacetime highs. GILTS yields ripping higher. Oil sets the inflation. A rate rise does not move crude. All a hike does is kick the bit of the economy that still produces, the private sector. Cuts come in 2027. Faster and deeper than the office will admit with government borrowing cost at all time highs and deficits now structural. Nothing stops this train. B......

Private pay is up 2.9 percent. Public pay is up 6.3. The people who generate the growth and most of the tax got half the rise. The people who add the friction, the forms and the delay got the bigger one. Vacancies are back to 2014 levels. The payrolls chart has been yellow for months. Yellow means people coming off company books. The bit that produces next to nothing paid itself more. The bit that produces for the country is shrinking. A country that champions failure and mediocracy and frowns upon success and winners. Typical Britain.
