Regarding this election, beyond allegations of fraud, I view the outcome as a major success for the People Power Party. The Pyeongtaek region is notoriously difficult, so I find the result surprising. However, the single-seat victory is somewhat shocking. The same goes for the mayor of Ulsan... Busan and Ulsan are already firmly entrenched as left-leaning areas. This is the consequence of the People Power Party’s own missteps. https://t.co/fx0CMt1fja

I went voting with my mother. I already voted around noon near my home, and my mother, who is very interested in voting, has also completed hers. Fortunately, I voted for the conservative-leaning candidate in the education superintendent election. Everything seemed to go smoothly. https://t.co/NXnqcLVffn

I briefly visited Wat Phra Nam in Bangkok. It seems most of the visitors are Chinese. Surprisingly, there were quite a few Westerners too, along with a few South Asians. An elegant Western middle-aged man suddenly asked me where I was from. When I answered “Korea,” he nodded—as if he’d immediately sensed I wasn’t one of the noisy Chinese visitors. https://t.co/Kdfg6eaSKm
