$NEAR dropped 7%. But who's actually driving the selloff? I asked @tryquantio Pro to look beyond the price chart. the move: $NEAR around $4.02 -7.18% in 24h -13.48% over 7 days Quant classified it as a multi-day correction, not a sudden crash. 1. who's selling? Spot volume: $492M Open interest: $190M Funding: 0.00125%/hr Funding is near its baseline. Quant's interpretation: selling is primarily spot-led, while derivatives positioning doesn't show the usual signs of a major liquidation cascade. 2. why is the price weak despite ecosystem growth? This is where things get interesting. $NEAR Intents processed $10.4B in Q3. Active addresses: +240% YoY TVL: +187% But BTC dominance is around 59.9%, and Fear & Greed is at 35. Strong ecosystem activity isn't automatically translating into token demand. 3. what could change the outlook? 🔴 A 4H close below $3.80 could open the $3.40 area. 🟢 A reclaim of $4.33 would weaken the bearish continuation thesis. Also monitoring: • Funding turning negative • Open interest dropping 15%+ • $BTC dominance moving above 60.5% Quant's verdict: Neutral to short-term bearish. Wait for confirmation around support. My takeaway: Real selling, but no obvious leverage driven liquidation cascade. I'm not chasing a short near support or assuming the bottom is in. The important question isn't just why NEAR is falling. It's whether the selling pressure is actually losing strength. Not advice. Just my research. $BTC dumped 4.8% today. Funding barely moved. So I asked @tryquantio Pro app to explain funding rates like I'm new. what is funding? Perps don't expire, so longs and shorts pay each other to keep perp prices aligned with spot. Perp above spot → longs pay Perp below spot → shorts pay Quant's example: $BTC at $80K 10x position $8K margin +0.01% every 8h = $8 per payment That's $24/day. Hold for 30 days → $720 in funding That's 9% of the original margin. today's data: $BTC $77.2K -4.8% Funding: 0.00125%/hr Open interest: $3.17B Fear & Greed: 35 $1.6B liquidated during the flush the interesting part: Price dumped hard. Funding barely moved. That suggests longs weren't heavily crowded going into the move. So this looks more like a leverage flush than an obvious overcrowded-long unwind. why funding matters: High funding + rising OI = positioning getting more fragile But funding can lie too. It can stay elevated for weeks. Basis trades can distort it. Different venues calculate it differently. And one sharp move can reset it quickly. my takeaway: Funding is a crowd meter, not a buy/sell signal. Read it alongside OI, price and positioning. Not a financial advice. Just my research. My watchlist for next week, built with @tryquantio PRO 👇 I didn't want to chase whatever pumps on Monday. So I opened Discover, picked 3 assets across 3 different markets, and ran all three through Quant Pro. The backdrop: Fear & Greed: 44 BTC dominance: 60% FOMC: Oct 28 Core PCE: Oct 29 Big tech earnings also land this week. 1️⃣ $BTC $80,339 Down 1.9% on the week and sitting around support. ETF flows flipped from $228M outflow → $527M inflow. Bull case: weekly close above $82K, then $84.4K. Bear case: lose $80K, and $75K comes into focus. Quant's risk assessment: high. For me, volume needs to recover above $25B before the setup gets more interesting. 2️⃣ $NVDAX $212.35 NVIDIA's xStock. Last quarter: $96.2B revenue, +106% YoY, plus an EPS beat. Catalysts everywhere: MSFT + GOOGL earnings Oct 28 AMZN earnings Oct 29 ~$725B hyperscaler capex this year $210 needs to hold. A high-volume close above $215 would strengthen the setup. Below $205–200, the thesis weakens. And Quant Pro ranked NVDAX #1 to monitor. 3️⃣ $XAUT $3,987 Down roughly 7% from the $4,287 peak on Sep 25. Main headwinds: 5.22% 10Y yields + a firm dollar. Needs to reclaim $4,000, then clear $4,050. Lose $3,950 and $3,900 comes into focus. Quant's call: wait / watchlist. My verdict: NVDAX is the one I'm watching closest. It has the most catalysts packed into one week, and Quant Pro ranked it as the top asset to monitor. BTC is second, but the $80K level matters. XAUT stays on the watchlist until the macro backdrop improves. This isn't a prediction. It's a plan for different scenarios before the market moves. GRVT was started in the months after FTX. That detail tells you a lot about what they're building. The belief: you should hold your own money and still get everything a world-class exchange offers. Now @grvt_io is stacking on top of that: - Earn, targeting up to 11% from tokenized fixed income (a target, not a guarantee) - That same balance usable as trading margin - Stocks, FX, commodities and indices coming in November And through all of it, your money stays in an account only your own key can move. Institutional yield used to mean handing your money to an institution. This is the first version I've seen where you don't have to.

What if a perp DEX stopped acting like a crypto only casino? That's the part of @grvt_io's 2.0 announcement I keep rereading. Not the burn. The roadmap. Stable Funding Perps land in November: • Stocks, FX, commodities, and indices • Zero trading fees • Funding settled once a day, not every few hours • The 1.1M GRVT burn already happened • A target of 1,000+ markets by end of December Why I care: Most of my pain on perps isn't getting the direction wrong. It's funding slowly bleeding a position I actually wanted to hold. Once daily funding on gold or an index is a different product. It's much closer to how TradFi traders think. And it ties back to the buyback story. Buybacks are intended monthly and discretionary, so the real test is whether these markets bring real activity. My skeptical note: 1,000+ markets is a target, not a launch list. Listing a market is easy. Deep liquidity on a quiet FX pair is hard. I'll judge it in December, not on announcement day.

Tesla and SpaceX both put it in their SEC filings this week. Each board has a special committee of independent directors looking at a possible combination. No terms yet and Elon Musk is recused. Tesla would need 50% of all shares, not just votes cast. Tesla's annual meeting is Dec 3.

Same trade. Same entry. Three risk levels. I ran the experiment inside @tryquantio using a hypothetical $10K account 👇 The setup: BTC long Entry: $83,000 Stop: $80,500 Targets: $85K / $90K • 0.5% risk → $50 → 0.02 BTC • 1% risk → $100 → 0.04 BTC • 2% risk → $200 → 0.08 BTC Same thesis. Same entry. Same stop. But the 2% scenario is 4x the position size of the 0.5% scenario. Then I asked Quant AI to account for leverage, fees and slippage. A bad stop fill could push the estimated loss to roughly: $55 / $111 / $221 And Quant AI flagged another important risk: at sufficiently high leverage, liquidation could happen before the planned stop is reached. That was the real takeaway for me. Your risk isn't just the setup. It's the size you put behind it. The 1% scenario gave me a useful middle case for this hypothetical experiment, without making the biggest possible position the goal. I tested the same setup three ways using Quant AI. Most token burns ask you to trust a screenshot. @grvt_io's first buyback comes with a receipt anyone can check. 1.1M GRVT bought on the open market, close to 1% of circulating supply, and sent to a burn address. Not parked in a treasury. What I actually like is the setup behind it: • an independent partner executes the purchases • a public dashboard shows every buy, the cumulative burns, supply %, and tx hashes • future buybacks are intended monthly, at the issuer's discretion So you don't have to take anyone's word for it. You can verify it yourself. And this is only step one on the road to Grvt 2.0. Next up is Grvt Earn later this month.

GM CT ☀️ Been thinking about @primus_labs Proving your PnL without giving up API keys should be normal by now What are you trading today? https://t.co/LNmX23OCe0

In March 2019 Bitwise showed the SEC that 71 of 81 exchanges listed on CoinMarketCap were faking it. About $6B a day in reported volume, roughly $273M of it real. The report even named the motive. A single listing could pay $1M to $3M, and volume is what sells listings. Same playbook runs on the marketing side now. KOL decks with cropped dashboards, "top trader" screenshots, volume charts nobody can check. I stopped trusting any number that shows up as a PNG. @primus_labs already built the opposite as a PancakeSwap Infinity hook. You prove your 30-day CEX spot volume clears a threshold with zkTLS, the proof gets verified onchain, and the hook cuts your swap fee 50% for 7 days in pools that use it. Neither Primus nor the pool ever sees your account or the exact number. That's the bar every "trust me, the numbers are good" pitch should have to clear. Dig into Primus: https://t.co/oI7QBzDyEF
