This is the direction I’ve been positioning for with hyperliquid:native and aster-2:native Equity perpetual futures can now begin trading on eligible U.S. exchanges registered with the CFTC and SEC. A major step toward bringing the perpetual model into mainstream American finance. Hyperliquid and Aster are already building at the forefront of that opportunity: expanding onchain trading beyond crypto and into global financial markets. Hyperliquid’s builder infrastructure and Aster’s growing range of markets point toward the same future. Traders want access to more assets, around the clock, with their capital working across a single trading ecosystem. Today’s announcement does not automatically authorize either platform to serve U.S. traders. But I see it as validation of the broader thesis: perpetual futures are becoming an increasingly important way to trade the world. The opportunity extends far beyond crypto. That is why my conviction in both remains so strong.

I called for a Monday shakeout. This is nothing. So many of you are about to get shaken out of your positions, then spend the next leg watching from the sidelines.

Simon is asking the right questions. I don’t trust ZachXBT. To me, he operates like a chaos agent: steering attention toward a familiar culprit while potentially throwing people off the scent of whoever is actually responsible. His sources and incentives deserve scrutiny, too.

Ansem’s clearest path to redemption is getting $ANSEM back to $0.370 or all the way back to ATH. Pull that off and he could completely rewrite his reputation. Until then, the longer holders stay underwater, the harder it gets to repair. Time will tell, probably sooner than later.

One of crypto’s biggest problems is how many guys see it as their ticket to finally being cool. The ambition ends at internet fame, an LA party invite and a photo with other influencers. Fomo and Pump keep backing personalities I think represent the worst of that culture. Give that support to people who can build, trade and actually teach others something. All this money and opportunity, and the dream is still sitting at the popular table. Such dorks, man.

Clavicular thinks holding over $100k in crypto guarantees you’ll gamble it away or get robbed at gunpoint. Imagine announcing that your understanding of wealth ends at impulse control and a seed phrase. $100k isn’t the ceiling for sensible investing. It’s apparently the ceiling of your imagination. Spectacularly stupid take. Bookmark it.

Watching crypto discover Stanley Druckenmiller is like watching a room full of basketball coaches Google Michael Jordan. Roughly 30% annualized over nearly three decades at Duquesne. Not one losing calendar year. Everyone here “trades,” but half the timeline needs an introduction to the man whose résumé makes their best screenshot look like a rounding error. Study Druckenmiller. Study Buffett. Study Julian Robertson and the Tiger Cubs. You know every influencer’s referral code. Learn who actually knows how to allocate capital.

I like the team at Fomo. They’re good people, and I believe their intentions are in the right place. But by promoting influencers with their own agendas, Fomo has allowed the usual suspects to capture the narrative. If the goal is to build something sustainable, who you give a platform to matters.

Decentralized > Centralized. Simon Dixon’s conversation with Danny Jones gets to a question more people need to ask: who controls the systems we depend on? When a handful of institutions control access to your money, your data and the platforms you use, you’re relying on their permission to participate. That’s a lot of power to place in anyone’s hands. Decentralization gives people another option. Bitcoin in self-custody gives you direct control of an asset. Open networks let people transact without asking a single institution for permission. And transparent systems give us the ability to verify what’s happening for ourselves. That doesn’t mean every project calling itself decentralized deserves your trust. It means we should pay attention to where control actually sits. This is why I came to crypto in the first place. Not for another casino built by insiders, but for technology that gives individuals more ownership, more choice and more freedom. The future will be digital. The question is who controls it. I’d rather have the keys.
