$LITE $MRVL merger (No financial advice; do your own dd) TLDR; Value of $LITE in the merger ≈ 4.5 × $MRVL share price Which means that $LITE is almost at 9-10% discount, so either it corrects or $MRVL relatively goes further Which means LONG $LITE and SHORT $MRVL for same notional $$$ amount as pair trade make sense (No financial advice; do your own dd)

It was always clear that there will be impact on $GOOGL search revenue sooner or later, the focus on $GOOG is how they are doing in other businesses and how best they cannibalise itself given the threat. EPS miss while look bigger relative to Revenue but the fact is Google is reinvesting heavily in it The key question is that can they match OpenAI and anthropic in performance and speed

Being advantage of $META and $GOOG is that they have serious FCF and while @OpenAI and @AnthropicAI has led the frontier of LLM, they will run in cash crunch post ipo at some point, which will require recalibrating And FCF printer of @Meta and @Google will eventually get them in close proximity of frontier model and they have better case of productizing it.

$META @Meta @finkd • Meta hiring MongoDB $MDB CEO CJ Desai may be far more important than another high-profile AI hire. It signals that Meta understands something fundamental: building enterprise AI isn't just about having the best models. You need an enterprise sales machine. • People forget that when cloud computing emerged, @Google looked like the obvious long-term winner. Google had extraordinary infrastructure, engineering talent and, for long periods, arguably some of the best technology. • @amazon wasn't even viewed as a leading technology company before @awscloud . Yet AWS became the dominant cloud platform. Microsoft Azure, despite initially trailing technically in many areas, also became enormous. • Why? AWS understood how to sell infrastructure to enterprises. Microsoft already had decades of CIO relationships, procurement relationships, enterprise contracts, partners and salespeople who knew how large companies actually buy technology. • Google learned this lesson much later. One of Thomas Kurian's biggest changes after taking over Google Cloud was aggressively building the enterprise sales organization, industry specialization, partnerships and the ability to execute complex enterprise contracts. • Meta is starting from an even more unusual position. Its commercial DNA is advertising, self-service products and millions of smaller businesses — not selling mission-critical software into Fortune 500 IT organizations through 12-24 month enterprise buying cycles. • That's why CJ Desai matters. MongoDB, ServiceNow, Cloudflare, Oracle — this is someone who understands enterprise software, enterprise customers and how products get converted into large, durable corporate relationships. • To me, the message from Meta is almost an admission: "We know world-class AI technology alone won't make us an enterprise company. We don't yet have the enterprise muscle, and we're prepared to build it." • If Meta is serious about Meta Enterprise Platform, CJ won't be the last hire. Expect aggressive poaching of enterprise sales leaders, solution engineers, industry specialists, partner executives and customer-success talent from Microsoft, Google, AWS, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Oracle and the broader enterprise-software ecosystem.

This post is in context to my views on $ORCL failure and bankruptcy giving widening CDS bid ask which is now sitting at 230 bps Debt/Equity ratio can penalise stock but all it needs one quarter of major revenue outperformance and tide will be different I am team $ORCL here

If US admin and govt is all in for #AI Supremacy, there are certain companies that will not allowed to be fail, despite whatever analysts says, they may dip but not fail I have learnt this 1st hand in my working career during a certain M&A, when we wanted to make a move to acquire a company

$MSFT Hologram will be crying in its grave today. While @Microsoft is great company and work they have done in Azure and pushing MS365 bundling is commendable. There has been many skeletons in cupboard as well. Hologram was excellent vision and so was surface duo, dumped too soon
