Here’s to a hugely successful @MWBTCSummit 2026 which took place in September! 🚀 Two days, 100+ speakers and a packed agenda exploring where Bitcoin is heading next. On the 23rd and 24th of September, the @MWBTCSummit brought the Bitcoin ecosystem together in Columbus, Ohio, for conversations spanning institutional adoption, custody, banking, security, mining, energy, regulation, audit and the infrastructure needed to support Bitcoin at scale. For The Network Firm, a major highlight was seeing our very own @TripleEntryCPA take the stage across both days. On Day 1, @TripleEntryCPA, CBP moderated “Institutional Bitcoin: Custody, Banking & Security” alongside Frank Reiman of @Anchorage, Tim Savage of Ion Strategies and Mike Cobb of DriveSavers Data Recovery. The conversation explored the practical steps institutions should consider when evaluating custody, banking relationships, security responsibilities and recovery. On Day 2, @TripleEntryCPA, CBP joined “Audit-Ready Bitcoin: Books, Proof & Compliance” alongside Jordan Guess, CPA of Bitment and Mark Dempsey CAMS, CRCP, IACCP of Crypto Regulatory Solutions LLC moderated by Jeff T. of Bitcoin Denominator Group, LP. This conversation moved directly into the work we do every day: what does it actually take to make Bitcoin activity auditable? From maintaining reliable books and records and proving ownership to establishing the controls and compliance processes needed for independent verification. Our team was in great company at the Summit. Speakers included SEC Commissioner @HesterPeirce Ohio Secretary of State @FrankLaRose, U.S. Representative @WarrenDavidson, @dotkrueger, @Avik, and leaders from across the Bitcoin ecosystem. The event was also supported by organizations across Bitcoin, accounting and financial services, with sponsors including @Anchorage, @KPMG, Crowe, @unchained, @Swan, Giga and @BTCStudents. For us, the two days reinforced an important point. As Bitcoin becomes increasingly institutional, the infrastructure surrounding it has to mature too. Custody, security, accounting, audit, compliance and independent verification are becoming increasingly important parts of the conversation. Thank you to the @MWBTCSummit team, the speakers, sponsors and everyone who stopped to speak with the TNF team in Columbus. 👏 #MidwestBitcoinSummit #Bitcoin #TheNetworkFirm #DigitalAssets #CryptoAudit

This was Day 1 of the @MWBTCSummit 2026. 🚀 The first day in Columbus brought together people from across Bitcoin, finance, mining, energy, technology and business for a packed schedule of conversations about where the industry is heading and what needs to be built to support its next phase of growth. The Network Firm’s @TripleEntryCPA took to the stage to moderate “Institutional Bitcoin: Custody, Banking & Security,” a panel focused on a question becoming increasingly relevant as more institutions enter Bitcoin: how do you build the right infrastructure around the asset? The conversation broke down the practical steps institutions should take when evaluating custody providers, banking relationships, security responsibilities and recovery. It also explored how institutions should think about the responsibilities that sit internally versus those handled by external providers. Because institutional Bitcoin adoption is about much more than simply buying and holding Bitcoin. Businesses need to understand how assets are secured, who controls them, what happens if something goes wrong and whether the processes surrounding those assets can stand up to institutional expectations. That conversation was just one part of a busy first day. Across the Summit, speakers explored Bitcoin mining and energy infrastructure, lending, institutional adoption, custody, compliance and operational resilience, AI and fraud prevention, wealth management and the broader financial infrastructure developing around Bitcoin. It was a great first day of hearing from people across different parts of the Bitcoin ecosystem, reconnecting with the industry and contributing to the conversations shaping what institutional Bitcoin adoption could look like in practice. A brilliant Day 1 for @TripleEntryCPA, Dan Killeen, and Cristian Carranza in Columbus. 👏 #MidwestBitcoinSummit #Bitcoin #TheNetworkFirm #DigitalAssets #InstitutionalBitcoin

Three members of The Network Firm team. One Bitcoin Summit. 📍 @TripleEntryCPA, Cristian Carranza and Dan Killeen, CPA are representing TNF at @MWBTCSummit in Columbus, Ohio. The Summit brings together people working across Bitcoin, mining, energy, technology, policy and business, which is exactly why these conversations matter. As Bitcoin matures, the ecosystem surrounding it is becoming much bigger than Bitcoin itself. Companies need accounting. Investors need transparency. Institutions need assurance. Businesses operating with digital assets need financial infrastructure that can keep up with an industry that looks very different from traditional finance. That intersection is where TNF works every day. We’re excited to have @TripleEntryCPA taking the stage at this year’s Summit and Cristian Carranza and Dan Killeen, CPA joining him on the ground. 🎤 If you’re in Columbus, find the TNF team and say hello. And if you want to talk digital asset accounting, audit, advisory or Proof of Reserves, they’re the people to find. #MidwestBitcoinSummit #Bitcoin #TheNetworkFirm #DigitalAssets #ProofOfReserves

Here’s what we think junior accountants should do in the age of AI. 👇 For decades, junior accountants developed their skills by doing the work. Building schedules, preparing workpapers, reconciling accounts and working through client data wasn’t always exciting, but it built understanding. Now, AI can increasingly do parts of that work for us. This isn’t the first time new technology has changed accounting, and it won’t be the last. AI is ultimately a tool, not a replacement. The responsibility now is learning how to use these tools while still developing the knowledge and judgment required to evaluate their output. So, if we were junior accountants in 2026, here are four things we’d be doing: 👉 1. Learn the tools before you need them. Be curious. Experiment with AI and emerging accounting technology. Understand what can be automated, where tools save time and where they can go wrong. 👉 2. Don’t become a “human proxy.” If AI produces something and your contribution is simply copying, pasting and sending it on, you’re not developing much expertise. Understand the output, challenge it and know enough to spot when it’s wrong. 👉 3. Understand where your value is shifting. Your value is becoming less about manually putting together a schedule and more about understanding how it was compiled, validating the underlying information, confirming assumptions and applying professional judgment. 👉 4. Do it manually the first time. There is still enormous value in doing the work manually. The first time you build a workpaper, schedule or reconciliation, do it yourself. Understand the mechanics before you automate them. We see the same principle in crypto. You can use custodians and wallet providers without ever touching the underlying infrastructure, but one of the best ways to understand how blockchain transactions actually work is to create a wallet and execute a transaction yourself. Sometimes you need to do something manually before you can intelligently automate it. AI is shifting where value sits across professional services. For junior accountants, the opportunity isn’t to compete with AI on the tasks it can do faster. It’s to become exceptionally good at understanding, validating and applying judgment to the work it produces. And that could ultimately help us develop better accountants, not fewer of them. @JeremyNauCPA @BTCmePLZ @TripleEntryCPA @ClaytonLowery #TheNetworkFirm #Accounting #AI #FutureOfAccounting #PublicAccounting

Good ecosystems aren't built by one company. They're built by networks of companies, industry bodies, policymakers, innovators and professionals all contributing their piece. That’s one of the reasons we’re proud to provide bookkeeping services for the newly rebranded @digitalinfranet The @digitalinfranet is bringing that ecosystem together in Austin through two events. This evening, industry leaders, policymakers, innovators and partners will meet at the Four Seasons Austin for the TIE Forum Welcome Reception. Then on August 21, the Technology, Innovation & Energy Forum will bring leaders together for a full day focused on the convergence of technology, innovation and energy. Discussions will span digital asset financial infrastructure, data centers, the Texas power grid, AI, quantum investment and more. ⚡ At The Network Firm, our contribution to the digital asset ecosystem isn't limited to audit, tax, accounting and advisory work. Sometimes it means supporting the organizations that are creating the infrastructure, communities and conversations the industry needs to keep growing. By helping the Digital Infrastructure Network with its financial operations, we're proud to support the work they're doing to connect people, strengthen the ecosystem and bring conversations like these to life. We may be working behind the scenes, but that's exactly where strong accounting should be. We hope to see you in Austin! @wes_crypto_ https://t.co/dFOSOq4uVJ #TheNetworkFirm #DigitalInfrastructureNetwork #TIEForum #DigitalAssets #Blockchain

🤝 Building the future of onchain finance takes more than technology. It takes education, collaboration, and investing in people. That's why we're proud of our ongoing partnership with the Onchain Finance Institute (formerly The Accountant Quits). Over the past few years, our organisations have worked together with a shared goal: helping build the next generation of digital asset accountants, auditors, and finance professionals. Our collaboration spans three key areas: 🎓 Education. Members of The Network Firm team serve as instructors within OCF's crypto accounting and audit programmes, sharing practical experience from the front lines of digital asset assurance. 🌍 Community. Together, we've co-hosted industry events, including PR1ME New York, bringing together CFOs, controllers, auditors, and finance leaders to have meaningful conversations about where digital asset finance is heading. 🚀 Talent. Through OCF's Scholarship & Job Guarantee programme, we're helping create a direct pathway for ambitious professionals to gain specialist education and launch careers at firms like The Network Firm. The digital asset industry doesn't have a technology shortage. It has a talent shortage. By working together to educate professionals, build community, and create career opportunities, we're helping strengthen the foundations of the entire ecosystem. Because the future of onchain finance won't be built by one organisation alone. It will be built together. #DigitalAssets #OnchainFinance #Accounting #Audit #CryptoAccounting #TheNetworkFirm

🚀 We built the firm we wanted to work for. When we started The Network Firm, we weren't trying to build another accounting firm. We were trying to build the kind of firm we would have wanted to work for ourselves. A place where digital assets aren't treated as a side practice, but as the core of what we do. Where people don't join expecting to work in crypto, only to discover it's one client out of ten. Every engagement at TNF sits at the intersection of crypto and accounting, audit, tax, and digital assets. We also wanted to build a business for long-term careers, not short-term employment. We believe talented people should have the opportunity to grow quickly, take ownership early, and make a genuine impact on the future of the industry. That means working directly with firm leadership and client leadership. It means contributing to high-profile engagements that are helping shape digital asset assurance. It means being trusted to own your work from day one. 💡 We're remote-first by design, with team members across the US, Europe, Africa and the Philippines. 🌍 We don't believe in micromanagement or unnecessary bureaucracy. We believe in hiring exceptional people, giving them autonomy, and judging success by the quality of their work and the value they create. Ownership extends beyond the work itself. Every employee joins our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) from day one because we believe the people building the business should share in its success. 🤝 We're proud to have been recognised as one of Accounting Today's Top Technology Firms for 2025 🏆, but what we're proudest of is the team we've built and the culture we've created together. We're still building. But if we get one thing right, we hope it's this: creating a place where great people can do the best work of their careers. 🚀 #TheNetworkFirm #DigitalAssets #RemoteWork #Accounting #Audit #Careers

🌴Once a Year. One Team.🌴 In a few weeks, The Network Firm team will swap Slack notifications for face-to-face conversations as we come together for our annual TNF Summit in Savannah, Georgia. As a remote-first firm, this week means more than just getting everyone in the same room. It's where relationships become stronger, ideas move faster, and we align on the next chapter of the business. Over the past year, we've welcomed new team members across accounting, audit, tax, engineering, and digital asset assurance. Soon, many of them will be meeting in person for the very first time. We'll spend the week reflecting on everything we've achieved, planning what's next, and continuing to build the culture that has made TNF what it is today. One team. One mission. We cannot wait to see our team in Savannah. 🚀 #TheNetworkFirm #TNFSummit #RemoteFirst #DigitalAssets #TeamCulture

Trust scales. Micromanagement doesn’t. The easiest way to stall growth is to build a culture around control. Office mandates often signal one thing: “We don’t trust you.” At The Network Firm, we operate differently. We trust adults to act like adults. Psychological safety drives better problem solving. Autonomy drives higher ownership. Ownership drives performance. Remote-first is simply an extension of that philosophy. We don’t optimise for supervision - we optimise for output. The future of professional services is borderless. The question isn’t whether firms will adapt. It’s how long they’ll resist. #Leadership #RemoteWork #DigitalAssets #Culture #Hiring
