Phase one was building the products and getting the assets onchain, now it is about capital. A lot of conversations are moving towards execution, and this week is mainly about finalising those, bringing more liquidity in and pushing the next phase of @ZIGFinance forward. Will be speaking at a few events, meeting people and hopefully closing a few things along the way. Should be a good week. Stay tuned, good stuff coming :) Things we do for ethereum:0xb2617246d0c6c0087f18703d576831899ca94f01 :)

One of the best podcasts I’ve done in a long time. Almost LIVE for two hours going deep into @ZIGFinance and the business we’re building around ethereum:0xb2617246d0c6c0087f18703d576831899ca94f01. • What ZIG Finance does • How we make money • Protecting investors and customers • Driving value into ethereum:0xb2617246d0c6c0087f18703d576831899ca94f01, why ethereum:0xb2617246d0c6c0087f18703d576831899ca94f01 comes first • Tokenomics 2.0 in detail • How we view markets If you’ve had questions about any of this, make time for this one. And if you’ve followed us for years, it’s a good reminder of why we’re doing what we’re doing. Thanks @cryptostasher for hosting + @CryptoWizardd @AndrewCryptoHQ @trader1sz for dropping by :)

Shariah finance is one of the biggest opportunities for onchain finance. @ZamanatDigital x @ADI_Foundation brings together institutional-grade infrastructure with Shariah-aligned origination and structuring. Through @ZIGFinance, these products will plug into institutional and retail channels through embedded finance. This is how we take real financial products onchain and actually get capital into them. And ultimately, more assets, users and financial activity flowing through the ethereum:0xb2617246d0c6c0087f18703d576831899ca94f01 ecosystem. Alot more to come :)

Great usecase and adoption of tokenized yeild powered by @ZIGFinance. This is how embedded finance eventually works, and we are fully tuned for it. Excited to be working with @GroveXchange on this initiative, providing yeild on USDT to its customers More names to come 🚀

This is why @ZIGFinance matters. The people helping drive the world’s growth should have a fair opportunity to invest in it. Some of the world’s largest companies have built their businesses around global participation. We should be asking why participation in their upside remains so uneven. These companies shape how we communicate, work and build businesses. People across emerging markets buy their products, pay their subscriptions and build entire businesses around their technology. Governments spend taxpayers’ money on their infrastructure and services. Over decades, that spending supports revenues, profits, dividends and shareholder wealth. A business owner can pay for the software powering a global company’s growth every month and still face considerable friction trying to invest in its success. Why should we accept that gap as permanent? I come from banking and have benefited from the relationships and access this system rewards. That experience makes me more conscious of how differently it treats someone without those advantages. Investors should be able to decide what exposure they want, how they want to invest and which provider they trust. Different people will choose different products and structures based on their circumstances. Brokers, fund managers and platforms have built entire businesses around providing access to markets. Tokenization creates more ways to serve that demand. Let businesses compete on access, cost, convenience and transparency, and let investors choose. Of course the money must be lawful, investors must meet the applicable requirements and people must understand what they are buying. Those protections should support a market where informed choices are possible. Tokenization can bring more participants and capital into markets, create additional sources of liquidity and support price discovery across venues. It can make investment products easier to distribute and transactions easier to inspect. Companies should scrutinise how their shares are represented and raise specific concerns. We should also scrutinise restrictions that prevent eligible investors from choosing how to participate. This is why ZIG Finance matters to me. We are working to connect real financial opportunities with people who have been poorly served by existing channels.

Good to see @PaulFrambot & @Morpho pushing receivable-backed credit onchain. This is an important step for the industry and something I believe is long overdue. For years, DeFi lending has largely been built around assets that have a live market price and can be liquidated almost instantly. But real-world credit operates very differently. A 90-day trade receivable isn't ETH collateral. It carries different maturities, counterparty risks, credit ratings and legal obligations. If we want to bring this multi-trillion-dollar credit market onchain, there are some fundamental questions the industry needs to address: - Credit underwriting vs. collateral pricing: Traditional DeFi relies heavily on market prices and liquidation thresholds. Real-world credit requires assessing borrower risk, cash flows, repayment capacity and creditworthiness. How do we make these standards transparent and interoperable across markets? - Maturity vs. instant liquidity: Credit assets have fixed maturities, often 30, 90 or 180 days. How do we create secondary liquidity without introducing dangerous maturity mismatches or assuming these assets can be liquidated instantly? - Legal enforceability and repayment: Smart contracts can automate repayment waterfalls, but the actual receivables and legal claims exist offchain. How do we ensure enforceable creditor rights, repayment priority and protection against double financing across jurisdictions? - Credit tokens as collateral: Perhaps the most interesting opportunity. Can properly structured and risk-rated credit tokens themselves become acceptable collateral, with appropriate haircuts, allowing credit funds to unlock additional liquidity without creating excessive leverage? At @ZIGFinance, we've been working at precisely this intersection, with over $100M across real-world credit and yield strategies, structuring and distributing capital across different chains and stablecoins, including USDC, USDT and USD1. I believe emerging markets stand to benefit enormously from this shift. There are businesses generating genuine cash flows but struggling to access financing because local banking systems, underwriting standards and institutional risk appetite don't align with global capital. Onchain credit infrastructure could help bridge that gap, provided we get the underlying risk structures right. It's encouraging to see serious players like Morpho entering this space. These are not problems any single protocol will solve. They require collaboration between credit originators, underwriters, institutional capital and onchain infrastructure providers. The next evolution of DeFi should be about connecting global capital to real economic activity, especially in markets where access to credit remains fundamentally broken.
