$BTC looks pretty similar to how it did last time we dipped below the range and 100D EMA before bouncing hard. if this plays out the same way, we could see a dip towards $74k before the reversal. https://t.co/CXnUpKRdo0

There’s a good reason why i just bought some $STX here: its BTC bonds require STX worth 5% of the BTC position at entry to be locked. alongside it for roughly 6 months. bond 2 filled with around 500 BTC and over 6.7m STX, so there’s demand for the product the potential flywheel i see is: - more BTC comes in for yield - more STX is needed to support those positions - liquid staking lets those BTC positions also be used in lending and other apps, giving that capital more reasons to stay now bond 3 is planned around nov 10.. lets see how much BTC comes in, whether it brings new STX buying and how much of that capital gets used across the ecosystem

Nearly 10% on stables.. okay, but who’s paying for it? On @rntprotocol , it’s people borrowing against their tokenized real estate. they want cash without selling their investment. stablecoin suppliers provide that cash and earn interest from the loans. Pretty simple once you look past the RWA jargon.. - USDT0 supply APY: 9.97% - USDC supply APY: 9.86% - $30.66m total market size - $9.31m already borrowed It uses @aave V3 lending technology on Polygon, with its whitelabel proposal backed by an Aave DAO governance vote. @Reental_co manages the market’s risk. Interest accrues continuously rather than waiting for a monthly payout. you can participate as a stablecoin lender without betting on an RWA token pumping. There’s actual borrowing demand on the other side paying for the yield..

TLDR: > 90% of hacked losses now covered, up from 80% > BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, USDC, XRP, USD1, RLUSD and ZEC reportedly 100% backed > Remaining 10% is less liquid tokens, still being bought via market + OTC > Funding includes corporate treasury, excess Futures insurance reserves + planned SAFU deployment > SAFU to be replenished to $1B ( nice ) > New PoR snapshot live; full verification proof expected Tuesday, Nov 3 > Withdrawals still targeted for Sunday, Nov 1

I think full options trading could become a very useful product on Lighter especially in markets like this.. > with perps, you’re mainly choosing direction and leverage. > while options give you more ways to manage a position: - like keep your tokens while buying protection against another dump - stay exposed to a recovery without adding another leveraged position - with a fully paid put, limit the loss on the option to the premium you paid. it can still expire worthless for now: - binary options are already live - the full options offering is still ahead, and it will be really interesting if they make hedging simple and attract enough liquidity for competitive prices, i think it could give traders another reason to keep using Lighter.. even when they don’t want more leverage. excited as a $LIT holder

Buying puts can be a one of the way to hedge in a market like this.. basically, protecting against a further drop while keeping exposure to a recovery. like if you’re holding $LIT, here’s how that could work on @DeriveXYZ . you choose how many tokens to protect, the price below which protection starts, and when it expires. the market determines what that protection costs… say you hold 1,000 LIT and want protection below $2.50 for a month. if the quoted premium were $0.10 per token, you’d pay $100 upfront, plus fees. this is an example, not a live quote. so at expiry: - LIT at $1.50 → the put pays $1 per token, or $1,000 in USDC. that offsets the drop below $2.50 on your holdings. - LIT at $4 → the put expires worthless, but you still own your LIT and keep its upside. the protection cost you $100 plus fees. you still bear any loss down to $2.50, and the protection ends at expiry. i think it’s worth understanding if you’re bullish longer term but cautious right now. whether it’s worth paying for depends on the actual quote.

Apart from crypto, i think there are good opportunities in AI stocks too.. i don’t think the AI trade is over. its demand is still growing, and if companies can keep growing revenue without spending rising as fast, more of that money can turn into cash flow that could give the companies delivering those numbers another strong leg up

What if crypto already sold the fear.. and this AI selloff becomes a buy the news moment ? China’s AI stocks have taken a beating, while the US AI trade is facing questions over whether all that spending will pay off but i that some of this risk may already be in crypto prices after the selloff we’ve had for months.. markets don’t wait for the bad news to become official before selling so i’m watching how BTC reacts now.. if the AI headlines get worse but BTC stops making new lows, that would make this case a lot stronger and yeah, if investors start looking beyond AI while still wanting upside, crypto could win back some of that attention and capital that’s the rotation i’m leaning towards here.. sell the fear, potentially buy the news
