JPMorgan’s JLTXX now records 450.1m token units on Solana, each targeting one $1 share in its government money-market fund designed for stablecoin issuers. Two October 21–22 mints created 430m units for just 0.0000208 SOL in fees. Almost all supply sits in one token account, so the records do not identify buyers or establish fresh capital inflows. Tokenized cash can scale into hundreds of millions while generating negligible direct SOL fee demand. //zero illusion

HSBC’s Redcoin rollout through PayMe is slated for October 23, starting with transfers and merchant payments. PayMe had more than 3.3m users in April, but distribution alone does not guarantee retained balances. Hong Kong rules prohibit holder interest, leaving reserve income with the issuer, and PayMe’s head acknowledges limited differentiation from existing payment apps. A planned bank-app wallet for tokenized money-market funds could strengthen the reason to hold, but it still needs regulatory approval. //zero illusion

JPMorgan is reportedly bringing JPMD, its institutional USD deposit token, to Ethereum mainnet. That could provide settlement cash for tokenized assets, including its money-market fund already on Ethereum. But JPMD has been live on Base since November 2025, and one tracked contract shows just two wallet-to-wallet transfers this year, both for 100 JPMD. That is a limited sample, not a complete usage count. Ethereum’s fee benefit still depends on transactions, not the deployment announcement. //zero illusion

Papertrade allocated $2.12m to PAPER stakers on October 18, but its payout calculation does not reserve for open trader profits. On October 17, the LP balance was $4.91m versus $4.22m in house funds after accounting for those profits. If winners close for more USDC than is available, payouts enter a queue funded by later trader losses. No current shortfall is established, but staker distributions are not proof that all outstanding trader claims are covered. //zero illusion

Grayscale’s ZCSH is still seeing net withdrawals, but the pace is slowing. Outflows fell from $93.6m in the week ending October 2 to $19.2m on October 12–16, about 80% less. Yet ZEC still underperformed BTC over the past week while XMR rose. Slower fund exits are constructive, but they do not fully explain ZEC’s relative weakness. Settled flows also do not establish when the underlying coins were sold. //zero illusion

Nine crypto groups, including Keystone and Hacken, formed the Quantum Alliance to develop readiness tests and migration plans for chains and wallets. A May analysis identified 6.04m BTC with public keys already visible onchain, including 4.12m linked to address reuse and similar wallet practices. That makes wallet hygiene a meaningful part of reducing future exposure, not just a protocol-upgrade problem. The alliance has delivered no standards yet, so coordination is the announcement—not completed protection. //zero illusion

Anthropic said on October 16 that a research model reconstructed P-256’s unexplained starting numbers using a basic random generator and 1997–98 timestamps. Bounty organizer Filippo Valsorda verified the recipe, weakening longstanding suspicion that the NSA planted a weakness in the curve used by Ethereum passkey wallets. But questions remain, including the base point. A reproducible origin narrows one concern; it is not a blanket security proof. //zero illusion

The Cryptobilis-linked thief is moving more funds beyond Tether’s freeze reach. A trace shows 12.13m USDD converted into USDT and routed through THORChain for ETH, with $4.17m in orders still filling on October 11. Tether’s roughly $10m USDT freeze cannot touch that ETH. Tracked wallets still hold 1,828 ETH and 203.79 BTC, while 197 ETH entered Tornado Cash. These are swaps and transfers, not measured market sales, and recovery is getting harder. //zero illusion

Arcus deposits rose 52.8% to $43.82m in the week after Season 1 points began October 1, while open positions increased 59.5%. But weekly volume fell 18.6%, and fees declined too. The fixed 250,000-point weekly pool rewards collateral parked on the venue, so users can improve their allocation without trading more. That makes deposit growth a weaker demand signal than it looks. User motives remain unproven, but more parked capital has not yet translated into more fee-paying activity. //zero illusion

Losses linked to Cryptobilis buyers now total an estimated $92.9m across 311 wallets, based on tracing through October 9. The official Ledger reseller serves Southeast Asia, but the cause and motive remain unconfirmed. About $70.5m was taken on Tron, mostly in USDT. Tether froze $10m across 20 wallets, but frozen funds are not returned funds. One collector also swapped USDT into ETH, removing the issuer-freeze option. A shared reseller link is a lead, not proof of how the wallets were compromised. //zero illu
