Visa: 10x surge in stablecoin settlement volume. On October 27, the annualized metric surpassed $25 billion. A tenfold year-over-year increase. Visa is implementing USDC pre-funding for cross-border transfers. Streamlines corporate liquidity management. The global stablecoin market contracted by 2% over 30 days to approximately $297.9 billion (as of October 29). Allium: $482 billion in payments in the first nine months of 2026 (+45% YoY). Economic activity is growing without increasing token supply. Mastercard, Circle, and JPMorgan are integrating blockchain payments with traditional systems. In Japan, JPYC is developing wallets, banking integrations, and corporate tools. Fumihiro Arasawa (CEO xWIN): stablecoins are becoming corporate infrastructure. Success will be determined by real payment volume, repeatability, liquidity, reliable redemption, and regulatory compliance—not market capitalization alone. Visa is settling stablecoins at an annualized rate of $25 billion. Is this real payment adoption, or merely an指标 increase without new supply?

Lagarde is stepping down from the ECB in February 2027. The President of the European Central Bank announced on X that she will step down on February 7, 2027, shortening her eight-year term (since November 2019) by several months. Her successor will be appointed by the European Council, in accordance with the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, following a recommendation from the Council and consultations with the European Parliament and the ECB. Under her leadership, work progressed on the digital euro. In September, the Pontes system was launched, enabling institutions to settle wholesale transactions using tokenized central bank money—an alternative to stablecoins. She has been a vocal critic of Bitcoin. In January 2025, she stated that cryptocurrency assets have no place in central bank reserves, which must remain fully liquid and secure. Previously, she served as Managing Director of the IMF and France’s Minister of Economy. Lagarde is concluding her term at the ECB. Is this a shift in stance toward crypto—or a continuation of the existing approach?

Quantum concerns are already hindering Bitcoin. Stacks founder Muneeb Ali: uncertainty about Bitcoin’s quantum security is deterring institutional capital. Some risk-averse investors are holding off on large purchases until a credible roadmap emerges. Transformation goal: 2030 (NIST guidelines). AI could accelerate quantum computers as early as 2029. Protocol changes take years—plus time to migrate assets. No progress by 2028: a more risky period. Lack of a plan undermines confidence. Ali: If Bitcoin is hit, everyone is hit. Work underway at StarkWare on minimal consensus changes: https://t.co/u0TUrgZrL5. Quantum concerns are already limiting BTC growth. Real barrier—or exaggerated warning?

Mirae Asset Securities is issuing tokenized bonds on Solana. The Hong Kong branch of one of South Korea’s largest brokerage firms. Targeted at institutional investors. Six-month floating-rate bonds. Part of a $3 billion structured notes program. Authorized distributor: Singapore-based Marketnode. Mirae managed the entire issuance, payment, and lifecycle process. Built on its own internal digital infrastructure. The transaction serves as a model for broader blockchain-based distribution of structured products. Expansion into digital assets: In July, Mirae Asset Consulting took control of the Korbit exchange (now Digital X). Mirae Asset Global Investments (ETF Global X and TIGER). $275 billion in assets under management as of June 2026. Ranked 12th globally among ETF providers. Mirae’s tokenized bonds on Solana. Is this a genuine institutional step toward blockchain—or merely a pilot for professionals?

Realized Cap Reflection. The network's total base cost indicator increased by approximately $31 billion (+2.9%), from $1.057 trillion to $1.088 trillion, following months of declines after the peak at the end of 2025. The price rose faster than the capital: Realized Cap up +2.9%, BTC from $69K to $80K (+16%). This rally was driven primarily by holders’ reluctance to sell, not by a massive inflow of new capital—similar to 2023. A rising Realized Cap alone does not guarantee further gains. It also rose near the 2025 peak, when older capital distributed coins at profit to new holders. What to watch: Will Realized Cap maintain its upward trend without stalling? Will the price defend its realized gains amid new capital inflows? If both conditions hold, the current rally may signal a healthier, more sustainable market structure—like in 2023.
