Yet again, another crypto exchange was hacked. Brazilian exchange @MercadoBitcoin suffered a security breach, with approximately $46M - $48.5M in assets stolen across at least 10 blockchains. More than $11M in stolen assets has reportedly been frozen. But the attacker still holds several altcoins that could face selling pressure: > 372.99B $PEPE ($1.79M) > 12.82K $AAVE ($1.61M) > 769.95K $PENDLE ($1.35M) > 29.83K $EVA ($1.26M) > 1.98M $VIRTUAL ($1.15M) > 147.84K $UNI ($1.04M) > 2.67M $ONDO ($1.03M) My concern is straightforward: if the attacker starts dumping these tokens, thin liquidity could make the price impact worse. Crazzzzzyyyyy no?

Right now, we are watching traditional equities find a home on blockchain rails. Tokenized stocks on $ETH have grown 170% year over year, reaching approximately $827 million in value, according to Token Terminal. But do you even know the bigger opportunity? Cause I think it goes beyond putting stocks on a blockchain. Think about this, holding tokenized shares and using them as collateral to borrow stablecoins, supplying them to liquidity pools, or combining them with other DeFi products without first selling your position. This is already happening in small steps. In February 2026, Ondo brought tokenized SPY and QQQ exposure into Ethereum lending markets through Morpho. However, Grayscale reported that only around 5% of the tokenized equity market was being used in onchain finance as of August 2026. My guess on the next frontier is moving tokenized stocks from assets people simply hold and trade into assets they can actually put to work across DeFi. Magnifico!

On November 2, 2008, $BTC received its first public reply, just two days after Satoshi published the whitepaper. James A. Donald’s concern? “We very, very much need such a system… it does not seem to scale to the required size.” Think about that. Bitcoin’s scalability was questioned before the network even launched. Nearly two decades later, the same challenge has shaped the block-size wars, SegWit, the Lightning Network and today’s Layer 2 development. Bitcoin’s first major technical debate was about scaling. And it never really went away.

Web2 financial rails makes it much harder to move large sums without going through multiple layers of verification/flags, organization transfer cap, internal approvals and authorization from senior officers and/or the Government. But it doesn’t make them immune. In Web3, a compromised private key, privileged access or vulnerable smart contract can often times be enough to move Billions in seconds, without similar layers of human oversight. It’s not necessarily that Web3 has less security technology. The permission structure is different. Smart contract transparency also plays a role. Anyone can inspect the code, including attackers searching for vulnerabilities and weak access controls. As much as transparency helps independent auditing, it also exposes potential points of failure. Kind of a pros and cons thing.

GM Champs, It’s a red day, bitcoin:native dips a lil, the hype gets quiet, hence, the closer traders may be to a major move. As always, direction is the million-dollar question. The data via Glassnode below puts Bitcoin’s one-month realized volatility near 25%, suggesting it’s back at summer 2023 levels. That summer’s calm eventually gave way to a sharp sell-off. In 2026, another volatility low came before a rally. So yes, a breakout could be coming. But low volatility alone cannot tell us whether it’ll be up or down. You gotta lookout for these catalysts: Fed policy, fresh spot demand and whether BTC can reclaim $84K–$85K resistance. Don’t mistake a coiled market for a guaranteed pump. NFA/DYOR!

ZEC GAVE BACK ALMOST ITS ENTIRE 48% RALLY. THE NUMBERS TELL AN INTERESTING STORY. Zcash ( $ZEC ) rose roughly 48% from September 15 to September 26, but by October 14, it had surrendered nearly all those gains. Santiment data shows that open interest peaked first on September 17, social volume followed on September 18, and the daily closing price finally peaked on September 26. > Open interest: Peaked at 1.60M ZEC on September 17. By October 14, it had fallen to 2.5% below its September 15 level. > Social volume: Reached 671 mentions on September 18. By October 14, mentions had dropped to just 50, the lowest daily reading since September 2. > Price: ZEC continued climbing even after leverage and social attention had peaked, eventually closing at $1,650 on September 26. > The reversal: From that $1,650 peak, ZEC fell roughly 30%, closing at $1,145 on October 14. That left it only about 3% above its September 15 starting price. Now comes another date you might wanna watch closely; Zcash’s NU7 upgrade faces its mainnet activation decision tomorrow, October 20, with attention already at its lowest level since early September. The question now is if the NU7 decision can bring fresh interest back to ZEC or whether September’s rally has already run its course? Tomorrow decides!

GM GM Y’all! Crypto users love decentralization until something goes wrong. Then suddenly, they want an identifiable team, emergency controls, and someone who can freeze stolen funds… hehe! It’s not necessarily hypocrisy, just shows that crypto still hasn’t figured out how much decentralization is practical when real money is at risk.

Crypto lessons cost money 😂 The skill itself might be free to learn, but somehow you’ll still pay for the lesson onchain. GM Kings and Queens!

GM, The RWA story is starting to move beyond tokenizing assets. RWA perpetual DEXs have already done $365B in trading volume this quarter, up 32% from Q2. And almost half of that came from public equities, with stock perps alone generating roughly $175B It’s starting to look like most traders don’t necessarily care about owning the underlying stock onchain. They want the ability to trade its price, go long or short, use leverage, and do it 24/7. Hopefully, this volume eventually lead to deeper onchain liquidity and actual ownership, lending and settlement around those assets. Pay attention to RWA!

GM, JSYK, Crypto markets are getting better at pricing narratives before the real growth arrives. By the time everyone starts talking about a sector, the market may have already priced in much of the expected upside. That’s why I’m more interested in what’s actually improving beneath the hype: users, revenue, liquidity, adoption, and real demand. You should give more focus and research to “What’s growing that we haven’t noticed yet?”
