2) Identity Tension This goes deeper than P&L. You don't just want to be right. You want to be someone …..a swing trader, a "diamond hands" holder, a contrarian, a quant, a "this is not financial advice" guy who called it first Your position becomes part of your identity, which is why closing a losing trade feels like admitting you were wrong about yourself, not just wrong about a ticker. This is why traders will defend a bag down 60% with the same intensity as a religious argument. It's why "I'm a long-term investor" quietly becomes the identity you retreat to the moment a short-term trade goes against you. It's why unfollowing someone who was bearish your favorite stock feels more satisfying than admitting their thesis had a point. You didn't choose your tribe ….permabull, permabear, RSI purist, "fundamentals don't matter" trader ….you inherited it the same way you inherited your parents' politics. Most people never test it against reality. They just defend it.

$AAPL QUARTER (ended Sept 26, John Ternus’s first call as CEO) Results: net sales were $114.5B (+12%), beating about $113.4B. Diluted EPS was $2.10 versus $1.99 expected, with tariff refunds adding about 5 cents (so about $2.05 without them, my arithmetic). Products: iPhone was $57.6B (+17.5%) on only eight days of iPhone 18 Pro sales. Mac grew 24%, Greater China 21%, and Services reached a record $31.6B (+9.8%, 75.9% gross margin). Weak spots: iPad fell 10%, Wearables 8%, and Japan 1%. R&D rose 32%, so operating income grew only 9.9% and operating margin slipped to 31.1%. December-quarter guide: revenue growth of 7–10% beats the roughly 6.1% consensus and is billed as a record quarter. Gross margin is guided to 45–46% on memory costs and the Siri AI ramp, about 2–3 points below this quarter’s 47.9%. Cash: full-year free cash flow was $136B (+38%, my arithmetic) with capex only 1.9% of revenue. Apple returned $102B to shareholders, and net cash rose to about $57B. For Palantir's ($PLTR) Q3 2026 earnings, the main negative issue and the primary reason the stock isn't surging higher despite beating top- and bottom-line estimates is sky-high valuation and multiple compression risk. Key Concerns From the Q3 Report 1/ Extreme Valuation / Priced to Perfection Heading into the report, $PLTR traded at over 115x to 150x forward earnings. Even with blowout revenue growth (+96% YoY to $2.31 billion) and strong EPS of $0.44, the market had already priced in flawless execution. Because expectations were set so high, a standard earnings beat isn't driving a huge post-earnings rally. 2/ Sequential Guidance decelerations While full-year guidance was raised, analysts closely monitor sequential (quarter-over-quarter) growth rates. Any hint that growth rates are peaking relative to prior quarters makes it hard for the stock to sustain its steep valuation multiple. 3/ Heavy Insider & Institutional Selling In the weeks leading into earnings, filings showed insider stock sales exceeding $97 million to $150 million over recent months alongside notable ETF net-selling, signaling profit-taking near all-time high valuation levels.

📊 $NOW Technical Update 💰 $105.12 | 🩸 Bearish ⚡ ATR: ±$8.39 📐 WEINSTEIN STAGE ANALYSIS: 🟢 WEEKLY (3Y): STAGE 2 · UPTREND ▲ BUY (25% conf) 🟢 DAILY (1Y): STAGE 2 · UPTREND ▲ BUY (26% conf) 📉 RS vs SPY: -24.2% (Underperforming) 💧 Institutional Flow: MILD ACCUMULATION 🔹 WEEKLY (3Y): RSI: 42.1 | Below Cloud S: $85.95 R: $122.47 🔹 DAILY (1Y): RSI: 26.9 | Below Cloud S: $114.14 R: $131.51 ✅ BUY ZONE: WEEKLY (3Y), DAILY (1Y) #Weinstein #StageAnalysis #NOW #StockMarket #FinTwit 🧠 Strategic Breakdown: High-Beta Post-Earnings Drop Flashes Extreme Oversold RSI The updated Seahorse readout for $NOW (ServiceNow, Inc.) reflects a severe short-term gap down following its Q3 earnings print. Price has collapsed to $105.12—cutting straight through its $114.14 Daily Support floor—while driving Daily RSI into deeply oversold territory. Decaying Stage 2 Framework & Cloud Invalidation: Daily Timeframe (1Y): While the algorithmic model retains a residual Stage 2 Uptrend tag (26% confidence) based on multi-month baseline slopes, price trading at $105.12 is well Below the Daily Cloud with a crushed 26.9 Daily RSI. The breach below $114.14 Daily Support breaks short-term structure and warns of a Stage 3 Top transition unless quickly reclaimed. Weekly Timeframe (3Y): The multi-year framework holds a 25% confident Stage 2 Uptrend, but price sits Below the Weekly Cloud with a 42.1 Weekly RSI. Macro structural support is now anchored at $85.95. Earnings Re-Pricing vs. Underlying Execution: Guidance Drag: The post-earnings sell-off (~25% drop from pre-earnings highs) was triggered by forward cRPO growth guidance easing to 18.5%, creating short-term valuation drag across high-multiple SaaS peers. Core Fundamentals: Despite the price hit, Q3 subscription revenue expanded 20.5% in constant currency, full-year free cash flow margin guidance was raised to 36%, and 2026 AI Annual Contract Value (ACV) target was boosted to $1.7B. Institutional Flow: Mild Accumulation indicates value-oriented institutional buyers are starting to absorb panic volume into the $100–$105 zone despite negative relative performance vs. SPY (-24.2%). Tactical Execution Parameters: Immediate Overhead Resistance Wall: $114.14 (Daily Support flipped to Resistance) —$NOW must achieve a daily close back above $114.14 to stop the short-term bleeding and target $122.47 (Weekly Resistance). Secondary Supply Ceiling: $131.51 (Daily Resistance) — The upper cloud boundary. Macro Structural Floor: $85.95 (Weekly Support) — Crucial long-term demand shelf. The Play: Although labeled in a nominal BUY ZONE, do NOT blindly buy the initial fall while price trades below $114.14 and under high ATR expansion (±$8.39). Wait for $NOW to establish a clear daily reversal bar or stabilize above $105.00 before building long exposure. Reclaiming $114.14 on a daily closing basis validates a mean-reversion move toward $122.47+.
