$ssftUSD by @flyingtulip_ could become a very interesting DeFi primitive. Instead of distributing $FT rewards separately, ssftUSD converts that value into additional ftUSD backing, while the FT itself is not dumped on the market. That makes ssftUSD much easier for DeFi

Flying Tulip is on the right path: TRS, spot trading, and leveraged swaps are live on Sonic. More than 90% of the supply has already been burned. Sonic Stats: 11% USDC deposit APY on FT lend 12% staked ftUSD apy via USDC/USSD

.@flyingtulip_ Spot/leveraged Spot & Swap is now live on Sonic. 🔹Market and limit orders, up to 10x leverage. 🔹Trading engine that routes orders between its AMM and onchain order book for better execution. 🔹Trade also acts as the price source for the wider FT stack. https://t.co/5KVSCcJ5s0

.@gosodax abstracts away both the chain and the liquidity source. No matter the chain, token or source of liquidity, builders can create apps that reach nearly every network and tap into liquidity wherever it sits. The best part? Sonic remains the coordination, settlement and accounting layer.

Sonic’s USDC supply expansion is unstoppable. It just flipped Optimism, with Sui, Monad, and Aptos next. Sonic now ranks 12th in USDC TVL. https://t.co/9oRwk3k6ds

Protocol level bundles are not just "batching." Most chains solve multi step execution inside a single transaction, smart wallet, app router, or external infra. Sonic's approach is different. Multiple independent EVM transactions can share one execution plan, settle in order, and roll back together at the protocol layer. That is a rare primitive with many usecases!

One of the most interesting parts of sonic-3:native's upcoming upgrade is Protocol level transaction bundling. Not batching through an additional contract or application layer. A complex DeFi action could be: repay debt → withdraw collateral → swap → supply new collateral → borrow → deploy into a vault Or a leveraged strategy: deposit collateral → borrow stablecoin → swap to collateral → redeposit → borrow again → deploy remaining liquidity into a vault All as one atomic transaction. Complexity is being pushed from apps to protocol level making user experience cleaner. Protocol level bundles are extremely rare. Another feather in the cap for Sonic's tech team!
