i think this is going to be an incredible environment for pair trading if the market goes down: tokens with no revenue, no demand and massive unlocks should get punished harder = great short leg if the market goes up: the few good coins should capture more of the inflows = great long leg either way, the gap between good and bad coins will keep widening and your trade becomes quality divergence instead of market direction (which may honestly be much easier)

if we get another risk on window, might be a good time to start looking at what’s coming onchain over the next month or so :))

two realities: (i) people have been burned enough times to understand that these coins go to zero (ii) capital is rotating toward assets with actual revenue + value accrual or credible store of value narratives less money coming in and much better alternatives to speculate on not exactly the ideal setup for another 2024 memecoin mania lol

the hack is obviously unfortunate but it shouldnt completely distort your perception of where crypto is today you have the real first signs of onchain businesses (hyperliquid being ofc one but others too), debasement thesis playing out in real time and everyone is adopting blockchains in one way or another if you are looking beyond a 2 week timeframe, this is still a pretty incredible setup
