A decade ago, in 2016, I went full time in Washington working on crypto policy. Since then, I’ve helped build two national crypto trade associations and worked with quite literally hundreds upon hundreds of companies across seven Congresses, from the 114th to the incoming 120th. That spans the presidencies of Obama, Trump 1, Biden, and Trump 2, and the SEC chairmanships of Mary Jo White, Jay Clayton, Gary Gensler, and Paul Atkins. I’ve worked with Republicans and Democrats through all of it. Last night’s results don’t change the need to keep doing that. Bad actors, and the groups that enable them, will be held accountable. Good actors should have clear rules and room to build. The show goes on.

This will be a good one. @nikhileshde of @CoinDesk hosts three @BlockchainAssn members at noon ET today for a 2026 Midterm Preview on tomorrow’s elections and what’s ahead for crypto policy. @JBSDC / @Paradigm @RonwHammond / @wintermute_t @Jessi_inDC / @FireblocksHQ 👇

DeFi must be protected. Today, @BlockchainAssn and @1inch came together to host Groundwork during DC Fintech Week. Students, academics, industry, and policy pro’s all at the table. A durable regulatory framework that protects #DeFi will come, and we must engage the next gen who will inherit and help shape its future. #DCFintechWeek

Had the pleasure of sitting next to @HesterPeirce at last night’s Cypherpunk Policy Dinner. There are few people in public service I’ve come to appreciate more. I’ll always remember her support for our industry, her thoughtfulness toward me, and the kindness she showed @LauraSpuller during their time together at the SEC. For all of that, I remain deeply grateful.

One year ago today, @BlockchainAssn and @na_blockchain launched a partnership to bridge federal + state crypto policy. From Harrisburg to Raleigh, Birmingham, and beyond, we've turned that commitment into action. Proud of Michael Postupak, our team, and our partners for advancing this work and strengthening the role of states in America's blockchain future. We're just getting started.

For years, @hedera has been a pillar of @BlockchainAssn and one of our most valued members. So it's only fitting to have them play a major role at our highly anticipated 5th Annual #BAPolicySummit! A big thanks to @nilminirubin @lawtoshi @leemonbaird @GregoryLBell and the entire #Hedera team. We're fortunate to have you in our corner!

The @BlockchainAssn was front and center at #StateChain this week in Louisiana. 🇺🇸 Michael Postupak has put a ton of work into our state efforts over the past year: the GENIUS Act roundtables, the BA-NABA State Policy Forum, meetings with state officials, and strengthening our relationship with @na_blockchain. All for our members. Much of this work happens behind the scenes, and he's has been driving it.

The @CFTC Puts Mention Markets on Notice: Speeches, attendance, photos, handshakes, social-media interactions, earnings calls, and potentially announcer/person-conduct markets. Not a ban, but this could narrow a lot of inventory. https://t.co/xEH2Uue9FZ

These are the moments that test patience, discipline, and whether we remember what came before. Prices weaken. Politics disappoint. Conviction becomes unfashionable. We saw it at the nadir of each cycle: ’14, ’18, and, at its worst, ’22. People turn on one another. Old alliances fray. Short-term disappointment begins to obscure the longer arc. But we’ve seen that part before too.

⚖️ @BlockchainAssn and @Crypto_Council, the two primary national trade groups representing the digital asset industry, asked an Illinois court to block the state’s unprecedented Digital Asset Tax Act before it takes effect 1/1/27. If Illinois can do this, other states will try. Read our joint motion: 📜 ⚖️ https://t.co/8GOIadKxO7
