A $32M sell wall is sitting right on Bitcoin's head. 🧱 Per ByKaranteli data (09:40 UTC), the biggest ask in the $BTC spot book is $32.0M at $78.2K, just 0.15% above price. The biggest bid wall? $35.4M, way down at $73.0K. Asks within 2% of mid grew 18.3% in 24h. Bids: +2.2%. Whale tape leans the same way: $3.62B sold vs $3.31B bought. Walls get pulled all the time. Does this one break or hold?

Bears got squeezed into the weekly close. 🩳💥 The single biggest liquidation of the past 24h wasn't a long. It was a $1.5M Bitcoin short on Aster, forced out as $BTC climbed 0.83% to $78,169 (00:35 UTC). On BTC alone, shorts lost $12.2M to liquidations vs $5.8M for longs. Roughly 2 to 1, per ByKaranteli data. Squeeze fuel for the week, or just a one-off?

Jupiter's perp traders aren't blinking. 📉 $SOL slid 2.34% in 24h to $93.63, yet SOL longs are still the biggest book on Jupiter Perps at $51.3M. Across SOL, BTC and ETH: $78.5M long vs $19.0M short. That's 80.5% of open positions betting up, per ByKaranteli data (22:20 UTC, Nov 1). The thin short side is the busy one: 64.62% of its pool is already borrowed. Dip buyers or future bagholders?

Hyperliquid's whales are leaning short. 🐋 Among the 1,000 biggest accounts by equity, 267 have trades open. Only 42.4% of their position dollars sit on longs (21:00 UTC, per ByKaranteli data). The tape agrees: $76.0M in forced closures over the past 24h, and longs ate $48.3M of it. $ETH took the biggest hit at $13.0M. Big wallets hedging, or bulls just out of ammo?

Bitcoin is parked right on top of a long-liquidation shelf. 🧲 $BTC ~$77,940 at 21:46 UTC. Per ByKaranteli data, ~$35.4M of longs sit near $77,490, with another ~$49.7M stacked at $76,940. Nearest big short pile: ~$49.4M up at $78,940. 24h liquidations? Only ~$12M. Quiet tape into the weekly close, with US midterms on Tuesday. Which side snaps first?

Chainlink's long party just flipped. 🔗 At 12:01 UTC, $LINK leverage was building with price rising. Eight hours later, per ByKaranteli data (20:07 UTC): LINK: price -4.1% in 24h, open interest still +1.1%. Read: shorts building. SOL: price -1.9%, OI +1.4%. Same read. BTC: OI -1.3%, price +0.3%. Quiet. Fresh bets are leaning into the dip. Squeeze fuel or the start of a fade? 👀

$6.7M of XPL longs just got wiped in 30 minutes. 💥 Per ByKaranteli liquidation data, major venues force-closed $6.7M of leveraged long bets on Plasma's XPL in the half hour to 04:37 UTC today. Shorts in that same window? Just $82.5K. This one hit the bulls almost entirely. For scale: long liquidations across every coin in the same tracker came to about $25.0M over the past 24 hours. One alt did roughly a quarter of that in 30 minutes, on a quiet Sunday. And the backdrop really is quiet. BTC sits near $77.8K, up ~0.9% on the day, and forced closures have been tiny since the $640M+ days of Oct 29-30. That's the tell: when the majors nap, crowded leverage in thinner alts is where the damage shows up. One-off flush of late longs, or the start of leverage getting cleaned out of alts? 👇 $XPL

The liquidation machine just went quiet. 🤫 Thursday: $674M in leveraged bets force-closed. Friday: $644M. The last 24 hours? About $41M. Roughly 94% less, per ByKaranteli data. And it's split almost dead even: • Longs wiped: $21.1M • Shorts wiped: $20.2M • Liquidation cascades: zero The biggest single blowup wasn't even Bitcoin. It was a ~$757K position on PUMP. On $BTC, the top hit was a $230K short. Bitcoin itself barely moved: ~$77.6K, +0.3% on the day. But calm isn't the same as confident: • Options traders put $3.1M into puts vs $1.3M into calls over 24h • The biggest Hyperliquid accounts are only 42% long • Fear & Greed sits at 34 Leverage got flushed. The hedges stayed on. Weekend lull before the next move, or is the selling actually done?

Every crypto theme basket we track rallied today. Not one of them has caught Bitcoin. In the 24 hours to Oct 31, all eight narrative baskets closed green: • Layer 2 +6.38% • Meme +5.65% • Quantum +1.33%, the smallest gain Zoom out to 30 days and the bounce looks small. $BTC is down 7.5% over the month. Every basket is down more: • Layer 2 -8.4%, just 1 point behind • RWA -20% • DeFi -20.8%, 13.3 points behind Four days ago one basket was still ahead of Bitcoin on a 30-day view (Quantum). Today, none are. Why it matters: a one-day pop across every theme reads like relief, not rotation. Leadership changes when a basket starts closing the 30-day gap, not after one green day. Data as of 20:40 UTC, Oct 31. Not investment advice. Which basket closes the gap on Bitcoin first: Layer 2, Meme, or none of them?

USDC's original cross-chain bridge started shutting down today. From Oct 31, Circle is cutting the burn limits on version 1 of its Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP), the rails that destroy USDC on one chain and mint it fresh on another. Capacity keeps shrinking through November. On Dec 1, the V1 contracts get paused. Any app or bridge still wired to them simply stops moving USDC between chains. What doesn't change: • USDC itself keeps working • Circle says funds stay accessible and transfers already in flight can still be completed • The newer version already runs on 27 chains The real deadline is earlier than it looks. With limits tightening all month, teams that haven't migrated could run into capacity walls well before December. Circle is also leaving Noble, the Cosmos USDC hub: new minting there stopped Oct 13, and redemptions end Jan 12, 2027. For scale: stablecoin supply sat at $300.5B on Oct 30, down 0.3% in a day. Which wallets and bridges do you think are still running on V1? $USDC
