every time another major crypto hack happens, I can't help but wonder why I'm still here. let's be real. making money in crypto feels 20–30 times harder than it did 5 years ago. remember how things used to be? you could wake up and find out some random project had airdropped you a few thousand dollars just because you made a swap months ago. and by the time you finished breakfast and opened your laptop, that same airdrop had gone 10x. you just made $20K for doing absolutely nothing that morning. you could keep your money on CEXs, stake some tokens, and somehow earn thousands of dollars almost every week. you could buy a random coin because you liked its logo, wake up the next day, and find yourself a few thousand dollars richer because apparently everyone else liked that logo too. you could stake your tokens on some DeFi platform and literally watch yourself get richer by the minute. you could mint an NFT just because everyone was doing it, then sell it an hour later for several ETH. it honestly felt like almost everything you touched turned into money. projects were sending tokens to anyone with a wallet. no complicated strategies. no endless points farming. no spending 4–6 months completing tasks for a potential $40 airdrop. sometimes all you needed was a wallet and a little luck. people were having fun. nobody was constantly thinking about the next hack, the next regulation, or what some president might say tomorrow. we were just a bunch of people on the internet making money out of thin air. and damn, those were good times!!! now look at where we are. you wake up and check your wallets to make sure your money is still there. you read the news to see if another CEX, perp DEX, bridge, or protocol has been hacked. you check your positions, your approvals, your exchanges, and everything else just to make sure nothing terrible happened while you were sleeping. making every dollar in crypto now takes a titanic amount of effort. and somehow, keeping that dollar safe takes even more. but we're still here... we still believe this industry has something left to give us. we still believe there will be another lucky airdrop that changes someone's life overnight. we still believe crypto will eventually become safer and bring hundreds of thousands of new people into this market. we still believe that at least some of the thousands of altcoins multiplying faster than bacteria will actually become useful and make us money. we're still holding on to that belief... and maybe that's what keeps us here. because compared to almost any other financial market, we're still a tiny group of people spending an absurd amount of time and energy on something most of the world doesn't even care about. i really hope all of this leads to something big someday! because otherwise, what the hell are we still doing here?

$ZEC’s story started with an attempt to make Bitcoin private. Over a decade later, privacy has grown far beyond anonymous payments. I mapped the sector’s evolution since 2021. Top 20 privacy-related tokens to know today: $ZEC - $22.36B $XMR - $11.69B $NEAR - $6.89B $LTC - $4.78B $NIGHT - $692.2M $DASH - $665.9M $BDX - $576.1M $STRK - $435.3M $DCR - $270.6M $ZAMA - $206.1M $ZK - $161.5M $RAIL - $142.1M $H - $123.8M $ZEN - $116.5M $ROSE - $63.3M $ZANO - $62.1M $RLC - $61.5M $NOCK - $53.6M $ARX - $49.3M solana:5u83eeMKS5drqAdchhJQeUpt7x4DNaU7ZBnaMZjUpump - $47.0M Nearly 6 years in 46 seconds ↓

Revenue has been one of the strongest narratives this year. People will buy tokens of projects that actually make money. Top 15 projects by revenue in 2026: @HyperliquidX - $HYPE - $526.7M @pumpfun - $PUMP - $390.5M @Collector_Crypt - $CARDS - $90.4M @edgeX_exchange - $EDGE - $86.8M @aeroxyz - $AERO - $66.8M @aave - $AAVE - $62.0M @papertrade_xyz - $PAPER - $58.4M @Uniswap - $UNI - $57.7M @JupiterExchange - $JUP - $55.8M @chainlink - $LINK - $47.5M @PancakeSwap - $CAKE - $43.1M @MeteoraAG - $MET - $35.8M @Lighter_xyz - $LIT - $34.6M @ether_fi - $ETHFI - $33.4M @ponsdotfamily - $PONS - $28.3M This is one of the easiest crypto narratives to understand. You don’t need to decode a whitepaper to see that people are paying to use a product. The next thing I look at: how much of that revenue flows back to the token. Here’s how the top 15 changed throughout the year ↓

I think the market is sleeping on some projects. Millions in revenue. Businesses growing fast. Yet their tokens are still 60-80% below ATH. There might be some real opportunities here. These 3 caught my attention: 1. $GRASS - @grass - Mcap $470M AI data network that collects web data for AI companies using unused internet bandwidth. Revenue surged from $2.7M in H1 2025 to $17M in H1 2026 (over 500% YoY growth). Targeting revenue in 2026: $65-75M. The team recently launched Contents API, giving AI agents direct access to web data. Meanwhile, the token is still trading 80% below its ATH. 2. $AERO - @aeroxyz - Mcap $920M One of the largest DEXs on Base and a major liquidity hub for the ecosystem. Processed around $16B in trading volume over the past 30 days, generating roughly $8.2M in revenue. Trading fees are distributed to $veAERO voters who direct liquidity incentives. On October 22, Aerodrome and Velodrome are set to merge into Aero, a unified liquidity layer expanding beyond Base to Ethereum and other L2s. Token is still trading 60% below its ATH. 3. $GEOD - @GEODNET - Mcap $122M DePIN network providing high-precision positioning data for robotics and autonomous systems. Quarterly revenue has grown over 7x in the past 2 years, from $389K in Q3 2024 to $2.78M in Q3 2026. Yet $GEOD is still trading at 2024 price levels. Around $2.2M was used on $GEOD buybacks in Q3 alone.

Altcoins worth buying now based on real revenue. Last week’s top earners: * $PAPER - $32.50M $PUMP - $15.45M $HYPE - $14.30M $SKY - $3.15M $AERO - $1.88M $LIT - $1.20M $AAVE - $1.19M $JUP - $1.05M $LINK - $1.01M $ETHFI - $881K $CAKE - $836K $VVV - $546K * Also keeping an eye on @papertrade_xyz. $PAPER isn’t tradable yet, but the project looks interesting to farm. The revenue narrative has had staying power. Tokens backed by real earnings keep attracting attention.

Right now, smart money is quietly accumulating altcoins. - Accumulation always comes first - The biggest price moves often come later Here’s a list of 12 altcoins currently showing accumulation signals👇 $AERO - 64 days $PLUME - 51 days $XPL - 50 days $XRP - 47 days solana:HZ1JovNiVvGrGNiiYvEozEVgZ58xaU3RKwX8eACQBCt3 - 47 days $ZEN - 46 days $ONT - 46 days $SPX - 44 days $SOL - 43 days $CPOOL - 21 days $STRK - 17 days $AXS - 16 days

A $30M investment in a project that's moving away from its own L1. You don't see that every day in crypto. That's exactly what's happening with @datafdn as it prepares to move from its own chain to Sui. I actually find the decision more interesting than the headline number. For years, launching your own L1 was a big deal. Your own chain, validators, ecosystem, the whole thing. And then you have to keep all of it running while trying to get people to use your product. Running a chain and building a product are two very different jobs. You can spend years improving infrastructure and still have no clear reason for anyone to show up. @datafdn used to be Story Protocol. In June, it narrowed its focus to AI training data and Trace, a product recording receipts for rights-cleared data. Trace has passed 250M receipts since then. That's a lot of activity. I'd still want to see how much of it turns into lasting demand. Receipts alone don't tell you that. The team is now choosing to build Trace on Sui rather than keep maintaining a standalone L1. Walrus can handle storage, while DATA puts more attention into the product and getting it used. Sui gets something out of it too. Trace brings rights-cleared AI training data into an ecosystem with tools for storing and working with that data. And Sui Foundation is putting $30M behind that direction, becoming DATA's largest institutional holder. It's easy to keep adding things to a roadmap. Cutting something you've already spent years building is a much harder decision. It doesn't guarantee anything. The migration is still ahead, with more details and timelines to come. $DATA remains the protocol token, and nothing changes for holders immediately. But I'd rather watch a team make one product work than keep adding things to a roadmap just because they can.

Some perp DEX tokens look cheap compared to the volume they're doing. 30d Volume / FDV: $GMX: $29.2B / $111M - 263x $EDGE: $34.1B / $424M - 80x $VAR: $69.5B / ~$3B* - 23x $LIT: $56.8B / $3.69B - 15x $ASTER: $60.0B / $5.65B - 11x $HYPE: $204.8B / $86.1B - 2.4x More volume at a lower valuation = worth paying attention to. *$VAR is pre-token. ~$3B is the expected FDV.
