ETF IQ coming up: @paisitfwd making case for historically-weighted SPX, drill down into $NANC, Linda Ma from Canada on alt ETFs and a CEF guy making case against Anthropic in ETFs. Also my trip to Asia. Starts at Noon EST w/ @scarletfu

Nice look at how the % of total flows made up by equity ETF is higher in SPX down weeks. Another data point that shows how ETF investors are GOAT dip buyers. And it just paid off once again. Via @psarafagis and @SirYappityyapp https://t.co/PT5veyDK06

Nice turnout at ETFs in Depth Asia which is in Tokyo this year. ETF market growing here just like everywhere else but BoJ still owns 80% of the ETFs. They have vanilla but now looking at buffers, spot crypto and private co-spiked ETFs, similar to US. Big dif tho bt US and rest of world is fee-based advisors/RIAs. Most still in bank/broker/MF commission system like US 40yrs ago (= high fees, MF stickiness).

If you're in Philly, James and I will be doing a book chat next Monday 11/2 after work at Bitcoin Jawn, which takes place in this oversized real deal Chinese restaurant on Washington Ave. Come for the discussion and noodles, stay for the karaoke.

There's a brazil ETF domiciled in Japan and it's down 15% today on above avg volume. What a chart. It actually sold off more then it went up on central/right govt hopes = $EWZ is gonna have a DAY. https://t.co/dPLE7e2TKa

Passive built the ETF industry but active is gonna pay the bills... Active is eating up asset share (curr 13%) and revenue share (curr 30%). Of course 'active' is a big tent nowadays but majority of it is traditional. Nice chart showing the real impact active having from @psarofagis

The Social Security Administration is tasked with helping new parents set up Trump accounts for babies and will be adding info about the accounts on the SS cards issued. Further evidence that these things are going to replace Social Security (which is running out of reserves) before long..Latest from @nypost which has done great job covering this

CHIPS AND DIPS: Semiconductor ETFs saw record flows over the past week after an ugly drawdown. Buying the dip here has pretty good record of working and looks like this last one is no dif. $SOXL $SOXX $SMH $DRAM https://t.co/FZtSzGnqtk
