In the next couple of years, we may can easily see robot dogs becoming a pretty common sight in the CBDs of China’s top-tier cities, running around delivering coffee and takeout. At the same time, my friends in the U.S. might start seeing drone and robot dog delivery services launch in most cities within that same window. What feels different is how steadily China’s market is moving forward—mostly because domestic VCs tend to keep a pretty low profile, so it doesn’t feel like there’s much of a bubble forming. At least on WeChat, you barely see those flashy hype videos everywhere 😆

The more I stare at it, the more it looks like a train crossing a bridge! but guess what?..... inside, it's a scorching 300 degrees or more! now that's what I call a hot mess!🌞 https://t.co/o8Jv6rgPBf

👀 quite interesting…. • Model evaluation: 50% • Data cleaning and organization: 40% • System integration: 8% • Model training: 2% The point isn't that training doesn't matter. It's that most people dramatically underestimate the importance of data and evaluation. Working with founders building AI cameras, robotics, and edge AI systems, we've seen the same thing. Teams often spend weeks debating which model to use, while spending far less time defining success, improving labels, or understanding failure cases. A better model can give you incremental gains. a better feedback loop can change the trajectory of the entire product. As foundation models become increasingly accessible, the real moat may not be the model itself, but the quality of the data and the discipline behind how it's evaluated.

We screened a broad pool of VLA data collection hardware suppliers and shortlisted 9 representative options across camera modules, stereo systems, turnkey head-mounted devices, and modular embodied-AI capture platforms. Key takeaway: 📹Modules A–C lead in cost efficiency and scalability. 📹D–E are strong turnkey evaluation paths. 📹F–G fit specialist system-level needs. 📹H–I are branded / modular reference products. For embodied AI teams, hardware selection is no longer just about camera resolution. The real questions are: • Is the data stream synchronized? • Is IMU quality good enough? • Can calibration data be provided? • Can the supplier scale beyond samples? • Is the system suitable for real-world VLA data collection? ✍️🔗Full Report: https://t.co/nhzGmLTSnS VLA has not “died” — it is evolving through deep integration with WM. In 2026 and beyond, the winners will not be single models, but integrated systems capable of building self-driven data-model-control closed loops. Avoiding falling into “outdated theory” debates or “new concept hype,” and instead focusing on the robustness and scalability of real physical interactions, is precisely what every true builder should be doing. #EmbodiedAI #Robotics #VLA #Hardware #SupplyChain #ShenzhenFoundry

This is what client support looks like at @shenzhenfoundry Our team was on-site with the supplier, live-debugging a VLA vision pipeline — MiDaS depth inference on RTSP streams, V4L2 camera enumeration errors, real-time RGB + depth heatmap validation. The factory knows hardware. The client knows the use case. We speak both languages. That’s the gap we fill.

Would you use this on your bike? 🚴 The future of cycling navigation isn't on your screen. It's on the road🚴. Imagine turn-by-turn directions projected directly in front of you while riding. 🚲Safer. 🚲Smarter. 🚲More intuitive. If you want to turn ideas like this into real products through co-development with us or OEM manufacturing. DM me :) #ShenzhenFoundry #Cycling #BikeTech #Innovation #HardwareStartup #SmartMobility #Micromobility #ProductDevelopment #BikeNavigation

Over the past two weeks, our team has been working non-stop from theory to practice. We’ve successfully tested and validated the core principles of our robot VLA hardware. We started with a single RGB camera and have now upgraded to three stereo cameras. The next version, which combines IMU and stereo imaging, will be released soon — full video coming. Big thanks to Oreo, Jasper, and Ribik for making this happen❤️. Our 3D-printed enclosure is also in progress and moving fast. ps: Next week we’ll release all our test reports for free, plus the latest VLA commercial insights from Shenzhen. We’ve moved from lab testing into commercialization, and our goal is to lower overall market prices by 50%–80% so more developers and companies can afford and use the tech. #VLA #Robotics #Ai #EmbodiedAI #3Dprinting #physicalAI #Robothardware #Robothardware #shenzhen

It’s pretty cool to see all the electronic stuff we use every day making its way around the world. You’ve got to hand it to the workers behind the scenes—they’re the real MVPs making it all happen! https://t.co/D9GmfJglTE
